Entire core module in second year on Genre in Television and Film, thanks. Probably why I find his nonsensical attempt at defining genre so insulting, but there you go.Getorex wrote...
You REALLY have to get past that part.
I also do NOT believe you "studied" this stuff at all. Maybe you took it as an elective and passed but study? Nah.
A teacher or professor would FLUNK the person who wrote the ME story that ended the way it did. That is an F on the college level because it really ends without an ending. It is NOT an ending to any story. It is a superhighway that suddenly ends as railroad tracks that themselves come to an abrupt end after a single run. Makes NO sense and doesn't go together.
Anyway, read and respond to this and I'll consider your video in full. A bit of two-way traffic for a change.
All of it is garbage and is just making 100% assumptions. Why even bother reading a book or playing a game if you are just going to make it all up in your head.
While I'm fine with IT I am not hardcore IT. I think it would be a cool interesting twist but nothing more than that. I believe that some of the straws people are grasping at are simply effects left over from when indoctrination was going to be an ending that got cut (according to Mass Effect Final Hours app) much in the same way all of the Dark Energy stuff was in the story that Karpyshyn was originally writing.
With that said, the videos like that one linked as well as countless others have mentioned. The story doesn't follow the basics of literature and takes a complete nose-dive in the final few minutes of the game and this has pretty much destroyed the entire series for many people.
I being one of those people, have absoltuly no urge to ever install or play the other games again until we are given some sort of coherent ending. I am not alone on this matter either.
They tried to pull some sort of crazy ass tarantino art **** in the final 10 minutes to try and get people to think but instead they were drving their franchise off a cliff.
