Did you contact their support? I doubt they will fix it because you make a forum topic about it.
Which support do you mean? The form where they basically say "We'll never answer your query"? Or the one that insists I call internationally and pay THEM to support the game I've purchased from them?
No wonder people pirate this ****. I'd be laughing at me paying $130 for something that forces you to use a beta website that has more bugs than a cheap hotel too.

Tried. Can't get into Berym anymore. It tries to make me do step 2 again, and tells me there are problems and won't let me.

"the exact process you went through..."
No, I cannot. I was taken to several different websites/account creation portals which resulted in several popup windows and confirmation screens. Unless I had written everything down, there is no way I could possibly recall the exact process. I realize that is not terribly helpful.
"can you reproduce the error..."
No, I cannot for a variety of reasons. I do not know what part of the site (or collection of sites) I was on when the process broke down (see above). Also, many parts of this process can only be done once. After that either your "email is taken" or some other thing or another, so by its nature, it cannot be replicated (at least not by me).

You're posting far more calmly in reply to that twaddle than I could have. I stopped myself from writing some rather scathing replies a number of times before I just pretended it didn't exist

Look, I'm getting tired of this silence on the matter.
I've done all I can trying to fix it - as have others experiencing the same/a similar problem - now it's time to step up, Bioware, and act like your reputation has of you and fix the bloody problem.
You hardly instill me with confidence in your ability to run a MMO. Yes, you put out a great game, but your performance otherwise, thus far, has been poor.
This website is a farce, the processes required are a farce and your lack of response or fix for those of us impacted by your poor implementation is a farce as well.
Great, you're fixing things so new players joining won't have a problem. How about you help out the eager and dedicated players who joined early and are now caught by your silly decisions to use this process and site?

But since we are currently spending all of our development cycles trying to get a DA patch page online, keep the databases from falling over under the extreme server load, and fixing problems with *signup* that prevent users from getting in at all, fixing that bug is low priority.
Try logging in using your preferred display name and the associated password Note that it may be a different password, since you have 2 EA accounts!
You can always use the "contact us" form on help.dragonage.com, at which point they would probably have sorted you out days ago with a simple password reset.

I contacted the "contact us" form a couple of days ago and have heard nothing.
I have a ticket with DA Customer Support (after finally being able to use it. It was non-responsive for ages and for a long while I couldn't get anywhere with it) and it's been escalated to a higher team or somesuch.
I remain waiting for a resolution there - I was told 24 hours, it's been 12 so far - though the fact that I was sent an email thanking me for participating and "If your question was not answered to your satisfaction, please contact us once again" hardly instills me with confidence that it's being looked into, but I'll give it the full 24 hours and then really get pissed off.
EDIT: Don't think I didn't notice that you've obviously barely read the thread and came across as awfully condescending with the "fixing that bug is low priority", the "try logging in" and the 'have you contacted us, they could have fixed it with a simple password reset', which is simply not true and just made you look like you don't know what you're talking about... which is novel, since you're meant to be one of the people fixing this mess of a site.
You really think I didn't try logging in as Berym? Why the heck would I have made Berym_temp if I could have gotten in with Berym on a simple password reset? Your site screwed up. It made it impossible to use the Berym ID, and now while the Berym ID exists I can no longer log into it - because when I do, it works... it just sends me straight to Berym_temp.
Did you even bother to check that going to do a password reset sends you to the EA page... and since I have the same email address on both accounts, it's going to reset the primary one? And as I said, the "contact us" link hasn't generated a response yet, and it's been a few days there.
Awfully glib of you, with your condescending reply, but you didn't actually help. At least now I know you can't, and have no real interest in doing so - after all, it took you three days to come up with that reply.

Have you tried linking your old Bioware account to the EA email address? My problem wasn't fixed by that, because it was then linking them to the same EA account, but it you used a different EA account to make this temp account it might work for you.

Nothing might come of it, but they've given me a vague sensation I'm choosing to call "Hope" for at least a 24 hour period.
Of course, after 24 hours I'll be even angrier

I had the same problem registering my account. Made and account, seemed to work. But when i clicked redeem code in game, it sent me to account creation even though i had just created an account, and was already logged-in in-game. Couldn't pass that screen for about five minutes cause it wouldn't let me create my account again, or move beyond account creation.
Eventually clicking redeem code took me to the redeem code page. I redeemed my codes no problem. Downloaded the content no problem. Everything was fine.
Played all night, went to sleep after shutting my computer down. Next day my computer wouldn't boot. My fault, not dragon age's. Managed to back up my bioware save folder, then did a fresh install of windows. Installed the game again, loaded it up before putting my save folder back cause i couldn't remember where to put it.
Logged in in-game, check the DLC. Nothing available for download, i assume cause it knows i redeemed it all. But it wouldn't download it again.
So i put my bioware save folder back in place. Now the DLC page shows wardens keep and stone prisoner or whatever is available for purchase, and the installed content page shows all my stuff, but says it's unauthorized. I can use it off line, but then i can't use the online social features. But i guess i'm not missing much

Jesse and the others are working on fixing the issues, and his posts have never, in my opinion, come across as condescending. The number of people having problems isn't that high when you consider how many people there are using this website and playing Dragon Age, but that doesn't mean the problems won't be addressed and fixed.
That there aren't many people having the same problem as we are (especially when it means we're at the low end of the priority list) does not make us feel any better.
I would like to point out that, at least for some of us, a jacked up account means that we cannot download any content. Believe it or not, downloadable content is actually a bit of a selling point for the game. How many of us there are is irrelevant to the fact that we are unable to access the product we paid for.
For now, I've shelved DA:O. I'll check back in a couple of weeks to see
if they've fixed this mess. Fortunately I have other games to distract
me from my annoyance right now so can afford to be patient.
I'm strongly considering cancelling my pre-order of ME2 just to give Bioware time to fix any release bugs it may have. Funny... I do this every time Windows comes out with a new version also. That's not a good sign.

I think there may be a caching issue due to the sheer volume of activity since the game's release.
In any case, I would suggest that some of you adopt the disposition of a beta TESTER who's job it is to collaborate with the site developers for the benefit of all. Rantings do little to identify the source of the problem nor motivate the site managers to correct the problems.
If you were actually paying for the services of this site, perhaps such rants would be justified, but they still wouldn't be helpful.

why should we be beta testing something we've paid for? Yes, we did pay for the collectors edition DLC and the collectors editions costs extra over the normal version. We are paying for this, and it's not working very wellBluesMan1956 wrote...

Saying this is BETA is no excuse. To use the game that we paid for - redeeming the pre-order codes, CE codes, etc - we are forced to use this site, so you can take your condescention and affronted developer senses elsewhere, mate.
If we had another option to get access to what we paid for, I'd have taken it and left the BETA site alone until it was working. As it was, we have no choice so here we are.
Ergo, as we have paid for the CE items, we are fully justified.
Would you like help getting off your high horse?

You know what they say about early adopters.
When we have a choice, yes.
In this case it was either use this site or not get your money's worth.
Had I known in advance, I might have not ordered the CE and been better off, stress wise.
