 Hi Bioware!

Just a quick question for you.

Should you and Sony find a solution to the problem of us PS3 owners not being able to participate in the N7 weekend events, would that open up the Battlefield Soldier class for us as well?

Wouldn't count on it, or on you getting a reply from Bioware.

If anyone from Bioware reads this, tell us which Sony department you are dealing with and we'll go and bug them instead of blaming you!

"we will continue to work with <inser here>" in software dev language means "we're waiting for them to move their butt, though we know they won't do anything about it, and we don't really care anyway".

Since you connect to the EA server to play MP and you upload data feedback, unless they explain what the "technical limitations" actually are, I don't reallty buy the "Sony's fault" argument.

It could be Sony's fault due to their network security issue last year. I have called both EA and Sony asking what said limitations are. Sony says to contact EA while EA says to post here or contact Sony. Might go to Sony's forums later to see if anything has been asked about this. Either way it's becoming more and more frustrating having the companies involved just pointing their fingers at the other one. Would be nice if one of them would step up and say exactly what the problem is instead of vague deflections and playing the blame game. Both Sony and EA (which sadly includes BioWare) are alienating customers.

Yeah, that's always how it works, when problems occur, it's always a blaming game between the different parties.
If there is limitations and they can't actually run community wide events, they could run a different PS3 specific event in order to prevent alienating customers while they try to"fix" the issue. Something easily feasible like a +50% cash week-end would probably be appreciated by PS3 users.

Yup, a little something would make us all settle down a bit. I am convinced it is something to do with EA's network wanting some kind of user information that Sony is unwilling to give them/doesn't mesh with. **** it, maybe they are just lazy ****s who can't be bothered to count x towards their arbitrary Raptor y. But you are completely correct, it would take very little imagination to think of ps3 events to be run simultaneously as these xbox/pc ones we are unable to participate in while BW/EA work out their Sony problems.

But that would mean respecting their consumer/audience, which all points seem to point to the very opposite of.

The problem will be solved as soon as the limited-time exclusivity contract between Bioware and EA ends.

However, I believe this will only give access to future N7 weapon events, as well as events with new content. I'm fairly certain the Collector Rifle is a permanently exclusive item for the 360/PC.

Limited-time exclusivity event? Proof please? And if that is the case, they could and SHOULD have just marketed the hell out of "BUY ME3 ON XBOX AND PC FOR EARLY ACCESS TO ADDITIONAL MULTIPLAYER EVENTS ETC!!!"

And none of us would be angry because we knew before we bought the game. If that's true, there's no reason for them to pretend it's a technical issue. Anyway, someone needs to post on these forums from Bioware with an actual answer and stop hiding from its paying customers.

Wait...  Are you implying that these grown men and women, should start acting like grown men and women?  That would be a nice change, wouldn't it?
