Brutal.
"Um... well, you see..."
Actually it would go.
"Grandpa, did the girl ever find her family?"
"Do you have 10 dollars?"
"........No"
"Go to bed"

Yeah,
the other one is the human girlfriend of the salarian, because without her car she couldn't manage to escape.

Yeah the cannibals love this as their bedtime story.

Some escaped before the arms were closed. But for many... Bad times.

Apparently it's supposed to be uplifting.

Her story, just like everyone's story on the Citadel, ends in death. Every single conversation you overhear, every single person you help, every single minute you spend thinking about it, ends the same way. Everyone dies. Nothing you do amounts to anything because it simply propels you to the same ten-minute Deus Ex moment.

"Everyone you know and love. Everyone, you will all die."
he was right! We should've just joined up with Saren back in game one. Would've been basically the synthesis ending anyway.

Maybe she'll live to hear her parents got stranded because someone blew up the relays.

There is no mission attached (at least none that i could find) I thought it was like the guy from Lyon and the Batarian. Just a way to show how the war is affecting people and how it brings people closer together (DA:O flashback).
@ Baihu1983
not quite, that one is related to a "Task". You can authorize the Soldiers Transfer Request at the Spectre Terminal.
I did but shes still standing in the same spot having the same conversation

I believe so, but regardless the reapers still supposedly turn everyone into gelatinous paste when they move the citadel to earth.

So she IS reunited with her parents. Just in another state of "existing".

The more I hear about how that kind of garbage was supposed to be uplifting and inspiring, the more pissed off I get. The devs must really have a party at family funerals, then.

I mean sure its nice to put more talkatives between species, but i totaly wanna have a good/bad outcome on this one.
My suggestion would be, some sort of scanning where ya can either find some sort of dog tags, or a [Artifact thingie] where ya actualy safe her parents. and no mather wich one [her parents died, or survived, the turian desides to take them out of the citadel towards a safe planet where they do survive, and marries her]. She totaly shouldnt die, and in my oppinion the citadel being used as a weapon means everyone on it dies, so everyone should be evacuated before that happens.
Heck, for that mather i would suggest a Refugee mission/scanning, where those that have loved ones actualy do get an happy ending [for example with a planet/system with tons of Loved Ones].
anyways, thats my opinnion on it
