What are the numbers that need to be changed? I got 6941 but what are the other two?

What other two? To get the right line you only need 6941.

That only works for the scene on the Normandy. Liara has like, three or four different romance bools that need to be set to true for it all to work right.

For the romance, maybe, but not for that specific line. Also these values shouldn't be bugged. If you need to manipulate them, look at the "modding thread" somewhere here. There is a list with alle the values you need.

Yes, this fix is for every language. What do you mean by directory? Launching gibbed's and setting the value or ticking the checkbox should do it. Gibbed's should present you with a list of your saves when you click open, there's no need for locating the exact save directory, if you meant that.

There is, though I don't know how.
You should look around, there are tutorials around here I believe.

I wish this could be fixed for X-BOX, I know it sounds entitled , but I felt sort of cheated for buying the dlc and it not importing, I bought it for that verry reason....

check this same thread on page two or three, someone posted a link to a thread explaining this in more detail and with the links to download the software:
find a flashdrive (preferably 1gb or more, but not required) plug it into your xbox, then go to system-storage, and select "usb flash drive", then configure it using the configure button (will erase everything on the flashdrive and reconfigure the whole thing to xbox format) or customize (lets you choose how much space is reformatted). from there go to your hard drive, select ME3, then move the save file you want to mod to your flashdrive. remove the drive and plug it into your computer. then download gibbed save editor, which is linked from the OP. then download the software "Modio" and use it to extract the save file from the drive to the save editor. there, make your changes, then inject the new, modded save back into your drive. from there just put the drive back into your xbox, move the save file back where it belongs and you should be good to go.

So anyone know if changing this value messes with the Extended Cut additions?

I didn't even notice it first time through, but I'd like to edit it for my second playthrough so that the conversations actually mirror my decisions.

Gonna bump this... Apparently the bug preventing the ambient dialog in engineering (between Ken and Gabby, and Garrus and Tali) was fixed as part of the EC... It'd be great if this was fixed as well. Granted, it's also a far more minor issue, and, assuming the EC didn't address this, it should still be simple enough to fix using Gibbed... it'd be great if it was addressed, though - I wouldn't have to do any modding then!

You need to download Gibbed Save Mass Effect 3 editor on the first page and use it to fix your save file.

Should be able to check in Gibbed easy enough. If you load a ME3 save just as you land on Mars, check the 6491 (I think :P) variable in Gibbed, and if it reads "TRUE" then the patch has fixed it.

EDIT :- I can't do this at present as I'm still playing through ME2 to get my preferred import file for the EC :D

Game definitely needed A LOT more testing, there are so many bugs. It's infuriating having to fix them manually in order to get the content that we were supposed to get from the start.

Well, I just started with a playthrough(EC installed) and the value is still bugged. Although the Ken & Gabby dialogue is now working right :)

Hey guys,i just found out that my save got the Liara romance bug,i romanced Liara in me1 and in the LOTSB.But she still says that its been years since they were together. There are some changes on the romance overall?

EDIT:on Earth,Liara says about the little blue children, she says that always or its just when you have the LOTSB save?

Whoa, I had no idea there even was a bug. It was a little off-putting that LotSB wasn't addressed sooner in ME3, but I guess I let it slide. I guess I'm just used to the old line so the new one is almost less satisfying now. Sounds weird. I'd probably hesitate if they ever got around to patching it.

They did get the little blue children reference right on Earth, which was much more satisfying to me. Did so much of the Liara romance right in ME3 that this little hiccup is a drop in the bucket to me.

It's a small bug to be sure, but never the less, I don't like messing around with a save editor just to get the game to reference my decisions properly.

I mean, I didn't even pick up on this when I played ME3 through, it was only through the forum that I noticed it. But it's like the saying goes, you can't unring the bell.

Once you know, you know. And you can't be satisfied unless it's working right. Luckily the Gibbed fix seems easy enough, and hopefully it doesn't break any other scenes in the game.

Can anyone confirm this?

Setting this variable to its appropriate value doesn't change anything except that specific scene. And it's not like this is a hack or so, setting these kind of variables to either true or false is how plot flags work ;)

Hi Guys,

Just found another way around this which worked easier for me so it might work for everyone else.

1) Open Gibbed save editor.
2) Load the Save
3) Click Plot
4) Select Mass Effect 2 tab
5) Romance Tab - Check the box [DLC: lair of the Shadow Broker]Laira toure.... it cuts off there but it means Liara toured the Normandy.

Does the exact same thing.

Might be useless for some people.

How do I do this for Xbox? I don't want to get banned for editing the save file but the romance was the sole reason I bought lotsb and it doesn't work!
