Im an Adept and im just wondering who are the 2 best team mates i should take with me and and any tips on how they should be built. best power to upgrade or best weapons to upgrade for the team i dont wanna waste money upgrading weapons that end up sucking.. and i just want a nice smooth playthrough though i know it wont be lol

My insanity adept kept EDI most of the time... Shes great at stripping shields/armor. I wouldn't worry about weapons too much. My adept rarely fired a weapon throughout much of the game.
Take the double effect lift and throw and you will be tossing the enemy around like crazy with biotic explosions all over the place.

When I did my Insanity run I took Liara for crowd control and James for Incendiary Ammo and the occasional Carnage on Banshees, Brutes, and other armored enemies. When I couldn't take both I took James plus the mandatory team mate.
Particle Rifle is the only weapon you will need for yourself and the team mates who can use it. Buy the Paladin handgun as soon as you can (if you don't have DLC), and the Inferno armor.
