PAX East is my point of no return. If nothing of significance is announced, I'm out. BioWare will have lost me. The PAX panel should consist of 1/3 congratulations, 1/3 apology, and 1/3 remedy.

We must remember that Dr. Muzyka said that changes were going to be made well over a week ago. Judging by the backlash, they now know that that won't be enough. Give them time.
Hate to be a doomsayer here, but if you read thru his statements, there was really no mention of "changes". It was more to "provide clarity" on the endings. Reading between the lines it feels more like they'll add onto BUT KEEP the already plothole ridden ending (something I'm sure they've planned all along). Again, I don't want to be a doomsayer but I feel like everyone here should be prepared for the worst. What is the movement's plan of action then?

in this for the long haul as PAX isnt the end of the line, we'll get scripted PR speak and how well it was recieved by the critics, the retake will probably get mentioned with irony or sarcasm....but when ur game ending gets coverage on BBC,CNN forbes etc and not for the right reasons whilst sales are not as peak as they should be then id like to think there savvy enough to know misdirections and illusions wont work. hold the line untill we finish our story.
I don't like to say it, but PAX is (for me) the last chance for BW to get things right. Just a dumb PR speak is, like I said, dumb. I had enough "wait until others finished the game", "artistic integrity" or "The BW teams is proud of their work" speeches.
I all this time there was never someone responsible for the last 5 minutes, telling us what they wanted to say. How can I believe that they like what they made, when noone responsible for the story comes out from the HQ, to tell me what the message was? Seriously?
Still this is my own point of view. But when BW continues their current way at PAX, I shall return my CE.

They've said they'll be making an announcement in April. If they don't announce at least some type of hint at PAX, people will galvanize and more bad press is not what they want.
They can pat themselves on the back all they want but it doesn't fix the problem ouside of the PAX conference. Here's the deal, I'm fairly certain there are Bioware employees who are in a state of denial as well. They need time to comes to terms with the publics reaction.
Furthermore we have to remember that they have big descisions ahead of them. They have to walk on eggshells right now. Any mistakes and the downward spiral will continue.
In regards to Mr. Muzyka comments all I can really say is that they can't pull wool over everone's eyes. Some of us are very aware of what is going on. I felt I needed to say my piece about producers, as my experience with them has not been at all pleasent. Mr. Gamble's personal reply actually surprised me, as a film producer would never make a statement in a debacle like this, only a PR rep would.
Even if they don't announce anything, kindly remind them that we're still here and rage because we love.

Addendum: 3/31/12
Why we need to chill the hell out until PAX.
I've been seeing a lot of threads expresing concern about what Bioware is going to do concerning the endings at PAX. I would like to cite some examples as to why I don't believe they will stonewall us.
1. The Producer himself posted in this thread. You do not, under and circustances send a producer to post in a thread about the problems with producers. This is nonsensical and would be an absolute disaster. You would send someone like Mr. Priestly to do this. If the attempt was a PR statement, Bioware has made a terrible mistake.
2. Mr. Hudson's and Dr. Muzyka's comments have done nothing to dissuade the masses. If anything all these comments have done is enraged people more. Any further supposed wrong doing will cause massive backlash.
3. Bioware knows a large hardcore fan base is waiting for news. Some of us have been with Bioware since Baldur's Gate, and are guaranteed buyers. Bioware knows this and also knows that you do not make a loyal customer with one game you do it with a slew of great ones and that can easily take a decade.
4. The event hasn't even happened yet. Perhaps the most important issue here is that the event in question hasn't happened yet. If you think about the problem rationally, Bioware has one chance to salvage both their IP and their fanbase. Would it be smart to sabotage it by pulling some crap at PAX?
1. True but Gamble didn't have any say in the ending and probably still doesn't.
2. Well yeah because they have a campaign going to get us to accept what they've done, rather than fix it.
3. True, but with my points in point 2, you have to understand there being extreme skepticism.
4. No but that doesn't mean the attempt won't be made.
For me, it needs to be shown that they are trying to fix the problem. Right now, with lines like "artistic integrity" and "we're not changing anything, only clarifying", the evidence is that they are trying to get us to accept the problem.
Be civil? Sure, but let up and stop asking the tough questions, which they have yet to answer? Absolutely not.

Folks,
I don't represent whether or not EA funds us for any DLC content. EA supports us, don't worry about that. I help to manage some of that budget, yes, but my primary goal is to work with Casey (the executive producer) and the other creative visionaries around BioWare and create something we are proud of.
I can understand how Producers get a bad reputation sometimes - but most of us care passionately about the product we are putting out. Of course, having a financially successful game is important - but making something we are proud of, and something that's a very high quality is even more important to me.
More soon...And see, we still do read the forums

People also need to admit that great artists fail from time to time. But you dust yourself off and fix the problem. Many great film directors have failures and they almost always made attempts to fix them.

I like, how ME3 is called a product and not art. That's a way to start with

I agree with that, but nothing is going to be salvaged if a company still ignorantly thinks that those upset with them are a "Minority"
