No I think they are going to take some swipes at the movement and they are going to trod out the reviews they paid for as proof that we are a small number of people that don't matter and say that the extended endings are all we are getting. IF we don't cavbe to that we will win if we do we will lose. Bioware knows that they have chance at PAX to turn things around get us to cave so they are going to do everything they can to do just that. Please don't fall for it just keep holding the line even after PAX.
I fully expect them to have a few paid people in the audiance to say bad things about consumers concerned about the ropey ending.. to make it seem like we are a minority while we are actually speaking for the majority.
Let's not make grandiose statments like that. They know damn good and well, what is at stake.

Yeah that will happen. Just don't fall for it people and we will win. i know it can get depressing but the fact is these things takea month or two to work and Bioware will try everything in that time to break the line because they think we are dumb enough to fall for their decades old PR tricks. Prove them wrong by holding the line after PAX.

^This. So damn true. I just think if they do it, it will be subtle. They want to make income, not make it worse.
Also, you know I've been here years, and I've almost never spoken. I admitted I saw the underlying attempts at depth, but seriously no ****ing way was 'the ending itself' able to be overlooked when the series made itself so full of depth and options that completely invalidated(depending on how you played) a large portion of the logic in how this series finished.
It brought me out, but not in a way of pure praise. Not going to lie, they did make a damn good experience (with some glaring but overlookable mistakes and sigh causing development choices) that was almost a non-stop ending itself but, that cluster**** of hypocritical handling, and nonsense included in the finale, no, just no...

Though I must argue about your 'won't settle for a text epilogue' point. And here's why...
I wouldn't settle for JUST a text epilogue this is true. But to dismiss the entire thing just because it has text in it is to neglect it's potential. IF BioWare fixes the endings (either by removing the current one and replacing it with ones that make sense or by implementing IT and adding endings afterwards, I do not care right now) then there's still the matter of closure.
Sure we could get a scene with every major character after the fight, have a little chat then be on our way, but an epilogue with some good music, pictures and short vids would do so much more afterwards. With an epilogue like that we could get resolution on EVERYTHING. A page for the geth, one for the quarians quarians. A page for the Krogan. A page about the rebuilding of various planets, a page for EVERY character we've worked with. Even pages for npcs like Shiala or gianna parasini. And because it would be text and pictures, every variation could be easily taken into account..
What I'm really saying with this is don't just dismiss the entire text epilogue because it sounds cheap and old fashioned...Not when it has so many strong points.

Too bad nobody (as far as I know) has made shirts, it would be pretty epic if 100 people at pax were wearing retake ME and hold the line
The easiest thing to do if it's too late to make shirts is to show up wearing a red, green or blue shirt with the letters "A" "B" or "C" taped onto the front.

Don't get me wrong, love BW, love mass effect (duh, I'm posting here), but it seems to me that WHATEVER BW does from this point on is going to alienate a size-able amount of fans. I mean, what will it mean if BW does in fact completely re-do the ending? What will it mean that a company of this magnitude basically admits to the allegation "We could deliver a trilogy of games that at the last moment completely ruins it." Yes, they will have rectified it (though what amount of fans will be pleased with what amount of rectification is pretty hard to say), but it'll still mean we can't initially trust the company to deliver anymore...
I think BW has done –time will tell– irreparable reputation damage to themselves with ME3...
(Ironically, I actually liked some bits in the ending. I mostly dislike how minimalistic it was.)
