[Artst3in]

I noticed there are lots of threads in which new players ask for clues on how to play. Of course, there is a multitude of guides and all topics are covered, but we all know that reading is very different from playing (you do not follow a guide in the middle of a gunfire, do you..?). Therefore, I came up with the idea of creating this topic.

Here, anybody who is willing to become a "mentor" and help newbies with game basics (or even more advanced tactics?) can post and I will create a list. Similarly, anyone looking for help can post here too and maybe they will be contacted by players who can spare some time to teach you the basics.

I created a group "Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer Mentors". Everyone can join.

I submit that watching videos of gold runs is the best way to learn a class. That's how I picked up Vanguard, and now I play it well enough that I don't die once on most Bronze and Silver games. However, I am willing to Mentor if this idea takes off.

so many different people with different builds, it shouldn't be to hard then for new players to get a glimps of what is all possible, and use all sorts of tips and tricks to create their own build.

granted, i only specialize in a few classes, but all help might be good. :-)

Been looking at this for a week now, and saved the tab.

1) No one's going to improve if they don't know what they're doing wrong... or right. Weren't we all noobs at one point or another? *waits for sarcastic remark*

I remember listening to someone scream at a newbie because he stayed put in the LZ during evac instead of reviving us during the demo, and I hated that guy. Shouted at him for another couple of matches and didn't cool down at all. Ruined my fun, and I'm sure everyone else in the game.

2) I feel this needs more attention.

3) I've done maybe a couple dozen successful (arguable) gold runs this weekend, so I'm feeling... accomplished enough to know have a sense of what I'm doing.
