Oh, wow. I guess it is a good sign then?... I suppose we need to keep asking and reminding them until something official is being said about this issue.

Tom Abram seems to be investing a lot of his time on this AND has been great at responding so I trust he will get to the bottom of this and let us know what is going on...

That's good, but it certainly took them long enough, and the lack of communication on that matter was offensive. Even a "yeah guys, our bad" would have done for the time being.

Yep, I got message from him that he will look into it, but with PAX going on and Bioware focusing on MP content and Ending DLC it may not be high on their priority list. It took them more than a month to fix the face import issue, so we may be in for a long wait. There sure is a light at the end of the tunnel now
Doesn't look like there is any reason to play ME3 now anyway, before the ending is "clarified" and (hopefully) starts making sense.

Yeah, well, too late. Sorry.

what I find encouraging is that it was removed AFTER Abram was on the case so to speak, so connecting the dots, it would appear that maybe they realized it is in fact not possible and are trying to figure otu what happened...remember he communicated with us this week and a few days later the sticky comes down so...it is encouraging...
It is, but I'm tired of second guessing Bioware. They really need to officialy acknowledge that this is just another thing they screwed up in ME3.

Nice, so the sticky is gone which I'm choosing to interpret as a sideways acknowledgement of the issue (I'm an optimist like that). Here's hoping they post an explanation that offers a timeline/commitment for a fix soon
Me to..
however the lack of communication again a lot of thing here could be fixed if they'd talk with us properly

Countless people have data-mined coalesced.ini and done multiple run throughs of the game and finished the game with a peak total of: 7200 War Assets
The default value for Galactic Readiness is: 50%
Effective Military Strength is: Total War Assets * Galactic Readiness
Thus far that means: 7200 * 50% = 7200 * 0.5 = 3600 points
An EMS of 3600 is insufficient to enjoy all of the game content as a particular outcome is reliant on an EMS of at least 4000 or 5000 if other choices are made with regard to the ending.
The last thread criticising the sticky post was locked down as after 18 pages with no response folks had gotten tetchy. Well it was locked down with a simple 'we're not lying' from Chris Priestly.
So then Chris or a colleague please explain how you get more than 3600 EMS without going near MultiPlayer?
Or explain why not being able to get more than 3600 EMS is consistent with the many statements that MP would not be required to get all of the content and that there was enough in SP to see all of it.
But you see. He is accurate.
Regarless of your choices or the fact that you play the MP or not, you always get the same ending. Color palette not withstanding.
The 10 seconds breathing movie cameo is just useless anyway.
This, unfortunately

The simple thing to do would be explain how one gets that particular extra scene without multiplayer.

I have a feeling future DLC is the honest answer.bpzrn wrote...

Removing the sticky indicates that they probably finally acknowledged the problem. But the communication still sucks.
