Seriously......

Be grateful they are going to fix the ending. You should be THANKING Bioware, not continue bashing them.

Lets look back.....Fallout 2 was rushed with a third of the game missing and the game a broken mess. It was never fixed. Fans had to fix it. A huge chunk of the game was even restored, including three towns.

Ultima IX was released as not only a busted broken mess, but with plot contradictions millions of times worse than ME3's ending, along with poor general writing. Never got fixed, got an off the record patch, and got  a fan dfialogue mod later.

Arcanum had to be fixed by fans with a restoration mod.

KOTOR II had many plot holes and a very poor ending because it was rushed out the door. LucasArts never let Obsdian fix it, fans had to. It now can stand with or even surpass the first game.

At least, ME3 is going to get an ending fix, unlike those games where fans had to do it.

Shut up and be grateful and stop whining.....

Well. They're not changing the endings. They're adding to them. Me, I'm not complaining though. I'm fine with it all. I hypothesize whatever they are doing right now is something they were planning on doing all along anyway.

They are not changing the ending. Please reread Ray's statement.

I'll thank them when I see words turned into results and reality, fair enough?

Not believing a single word from Ray's statement. I want results. I'm not going to be hoodwinked by BioWare again. They already broke their promises concerning the endings before.

They never said they were changing the endings, they said they were going to 'clarify' them. So Shepard will still be (potentially) dead, the mass relays will be destroyed, the Normandy will still be stranded on a random planet, and a galactic fleet stuck in the sol system with a ruined and war torn earth.

Because they haven't said they're going to fix the ending, despite what media sites have been claiming. Just some vague allusions to 'clarification' and 'closure' which doesn't actually sound like they are fixing the ending issues, just adding a 3 minute epilogue and maybe some deleted scenes.

We want an ending(s) that addresses the glaring plot holes and delivers on the promises made to us prerelease (i.e. vastly different endings that reflect the choices you've made during the series). Until they tell us just what exactly they are doing about this ending debacle then they haven't really told us anything.

First off calm down and write a little more politely if you want people to not just dismiss you as a troll.
(If you are trolling than you need practice my friend.)

To answer your question Bioware (despite what the news says) has not actually confirmed that they are adding to the endings, only "clarifying" them. this is not what we want, many of us fear that this will just result in a 10 page webcomic or the like and no actual action.

We're still hear to make sure Bioware doesn't forget about us.

And they said this where? I hope you don't mean Ray's statement.

On a side note, don't even start saying people are whining. People paid for something and got screwed, so unless you plan on paying people back out of your money, don't come an tell people they have no right to complain.

Isn't that like waiting until a piece of legislation is passed to see what it is in it? --- No, what I thank them for is appearing to look like they are taking our greviances seriously, what is the end result remains to be verified.

Clarification doesn't sound like changing or fixing. I'll wait to see the detail of what they are going to do but i'll keep civilly saying why i despise the current ending till then.

Because we really haven't been told anything other than PR nonsense. We have no real confirmations, only things done in an attempt to quite us and/or sidetrack the movement. We hold the line until we see words turned to action.

Why do you say "we"? Three is "you" and "us". You are the fanboys, we are the disappointed fans.

Oh and before I forget, to speak in your language STFU and GTFO AH.

I think the reason we're all still here and posting about the ending is that our trust in BioWare has been damaged, and BW's statements about changing the ending have been far from definitive. I think when they come out and say they're re-writing the whole thing we'll calm down a bit.

One little scene and a couple of dailogue lines can FIX plot holes.

Because some people will never be satisfied. Even if some get the exact ending they want in a DLC package they'll still complain that it was too late or that they had to pay for it, etc...

Bottom line is that it's encouraging to see Bioware reaching out to fans like this. I don't need anything else but I'll happily consume more ME lore!

The fact is that we all were promised a product from bioware that was never received. (what they stated in the interviews). So now when they are saying they will "fix" something, we aren't taking their word for it. We will stop when we see results

Thank you. You are practically taking the words from my lips. I go around the forums and I see all this negativity and it hurts me that so many people who love Mass Effect and BioWare could just be this pessimistic about the ending. :pinched: So what? It was a poor ending and didn't live up to expectations. At least BioWare is taking the time to do what they can to address our concerns. You don't need to be forceful or practically say they should burn in hell. They're working their butts off for us and that's what matters.

I talked to one of my friends today about the ending he also didn´t like the ending at all and isaid to him that if the ending would be...well bad i wouldn´t have cared

however when an ending is making one feel terrible then one must speak up
