Nope. Anyone who disagrees with them are trolls. You forget this, or you haven't seen some of the threads they troll into oblivion.

You can like the endings all you want.
But to declare that there's nothing wrong with them is objectively wrong.

The serious "plothole" was explained by someone who found the link in ME1.

Its your opinion that you think they;'re flawed, like its my opinion to think they are not.

...... you mean the Klencory thing? Really? REALLY?
That's no more valid than the indoctrination theory. Thank you for proving my point.

What's the Klencory thing?

It was a planet whose description talked about a volus billionare who said a vision told him about ancient evil and that this planet had white light?  I forget...sorry.
Basically, this one description is enough to justify star child...meaning it was planned.  This one sentence...yeah...

If someone gave you a prize because you finished last in a race, would you accept it? Of course not.

Ever heard of the Golden Raspberry award for the worst actor in a motion picture?
Who would ever accept such an award with humility and good humor?
Ever heard of an actress called Sandra Bullock?

Most A-listers don't actually turn up to accept that award though. It's a rarity for a actor/actress to accept it, not the norm.

Most don't, she did and she is generally applauded for doing so.
Swallowing your pride is hard... apparently it tastes like vanilla who would have guessed!

But we don't bash the others who don't accept the Raspberry like we are doing to BioWare for not accepting cupcakes. We realise that they know they've screwed up, and just let them get on with it.

Seriously you cannot run around claiming that fan theories fill plot holes, and that was hardly the only thing wrong with the ending in any case.

Oh, that thing.

... ok. Thanks to both of you.

It still.......doesn't solve the other plot holes. The logic failings. The suspension of disbelief is taken outside and beaten in the endings.

EVERYBODY and their MOMS know this by now. People are still allowed to like the endings. What is this, a crusade against the "infidels"?

Nope. Anyone who disagrees with them are trolls. You forget this, or you haven't seen some of the threads they troll into oblivion.

People who disagree with me aren't trolls.  People who troll are trolls.

When you attack everyone who dislikes the endings while pretending that you are the person being attacked for liking the endings (which is cool) ... yes, you are a troll.

To anyone worrying that the rest of the team "didn't get the news" about the cupcakes... this was announced on GameInformer. I don't know how you could reach a bigger audience than that.

Funniest thing is the description tells us nothing, it's vague and open to interpretation.
The indoctrination theory has about 200 times the evidence of this theory, and yet it is (rightfully) dismissed as fanfiction.

Yep. I have all of the messages (not all were cut out by Fuss, they are the white print-out at back). And those are being kept by the team. {smilie}

That's great!

Agreed. That's cool. :)

Bioware gave us three options to choose from.
We gave Bioware three options(cupcake colours).
They chose #4.

Someone should throw a Scumbag Steve hat on that.

It does not solve anything really.... 1 sentence on a planet description and 1 sentence mention in ME3 does not allow enough build up for a "deus ex machina" ending.... Bad writing is bad writing.

BioWare are treating us all like dirt, that's what is most aggravating. I work in retail and would NEVER be allowed to treat a PAYING customer like this if they had a legitimate complaint. Hell, I wouldn't be allowed to treat them like this even if they had a STUPID complaint!  They keep teasing us, telling us they're listening on the one hand but giving us absolutely no clear answers as to what exactly is going on on the other.  Instead of EVER apologising for lying to us, giving us false hope and advertising, they just repeatedly make excuses and basically find a nice, roundabout, Media friendly way of telling us to shove it.

Also, I wouldn't accept a prize for finishing last. I would, however, accept cupcakes.

Can't believe they gave them away because they weren't to "celebrate" their hard work? Yeah, I'm done with BioWare.

Perhaps we should all "donate" our copies of ME3 to our local game store.

Did you honestly think they would accept them? At least they donated them, and didn't throw them away like some thought.

To be honest, I thought they were sent as an olive branch as most people love the game and just want the ending changed. I thought bioware would be able to take a little joke, not re-gift them.

The ending was not known from the start of ME1. Drew Karpyshyn even blatantly said that the way the series would wrap up was not obvious from day 1, and that there were MANY options on the table. Klencory is far from being absolute justification of the ending being the natural progression. I'm not a fan of IT, but even that has more backing it up than just one vague and subjective clue.

they got the message ,.Casey Hudson doesnt waste any given opportunity to show this true feelings towards the community , i think the guy has taken the whole issue personaly. His reaction indicates that he is holding a grudge towards the community .The fact that he didnt accept the cupcakes Because was not for celebrating ME3 success and giving the to charity is more like trying to balance the situation.By giving them to a charity more less manages to reduce the negative implications the dismissive move had.
He is too arrogant in my opinion , he reminds me people like John Romero and other Devs with great Artistic integrity tha did not give a dime for the community and failed misserably and eventualy taken out of the picture.

I'm really surprised some people are angry with BioWare passing the cupcakes over to the kids in need. They provide a solid explanation for it: "the community did not send those cupcakes so we can celebrate Mass Effect 3, but to send a message". So, they tell the community that they received the message and they also agree not to celebrate (yet) by sending cupcakes to people who need them more.

The icing on the (cup)cake is going to be BioWare producing the ending community enjoys so much that it sends BioWare cupcakes with a thumbs-up on top. These BioWare are going to eat (as in, this is going to be the time to celebrate).

Come oooon, they could have at least kept 1 box. You should be able to accept criticism even if you don't agree with it. It's just sh*ts and giggles, anyway.

They accepted the criticism, but they couldn't accept the cupcakes cause they're basically a huge "YOU SUCK!". If you screwed up badly and someone gave you a "reward" that poked fun at your mistake would you accept it while they point and laugh, or try to make the best of the bad situation?

Why should they keep the cupcakes when they're basically an insult, no matter how positive/humorous the person who came up with the idea might have intended them to be? While I imagine that some employees might be able to take it with good humor, having your work spat upon repeatedly might conceivably be a bit hurtful to other employees (with the cupcakes possibly being interpreted as yet another shot at them). At any rate, it's obvious from that other screenshot with the messages that they got those messages - which was supposedly the point of this. Just be glad the cupcakes actually did some good instead of being tossed in the trash.

Nobodies angry they gave the cakes to kids man, its the PR slant that came with it that some people are miffed at I think.

Who cares anyway, they got the message and kids got yummy cupcakes. :)
