That was rather my point with the supportive comment.  Garrus is wonderful for Shepard.  Their Citadel scene was fantastic and just what she needed!  I just don't get the vibe from him.  Obviously, that's just me.  :happy:

I have done both the Kaidan romance and the Garrus Romance, and both are wonderfully well done.

Garrus is totally the bestfriend-turned-boyfriend.
Kaidan is the lost love come home again.

Do both. They're worth it.

Liara is a very good friend, i never romanced her but made her a very close friend and it definiely feels like a nice friendship, she is always paying attention to you and in the case of mass effect 2, lair of the shadow broker DLC, you can still invite her to the normandy just to hang out at the end, without the romance stuff.
