No that's wrong. Even if it was true I doubt it would be free.

But if you did read that put up a thread and see if any confirms what you saw.

wait you would expect it to not be free if it deals with the actual story just fixing the mistake and you think they are going to charge people? haha i would pay for it id rather watch it illegally on youtube instead haha. anyways if you want me to give you the link then it will cost you 800 MSP

This, unfortunatly, isn't a big enough problem for EA, or an ISP really, to worry about. Up until about three months ago, I would be in the same boat if it wasn't for the Motorola Canopy system and I live 10 minutes outside of a decently sized metro area. For all the ME2 DLC, I had to take my 360 to a friends house and mooch their DSL, or if it was for something on the PC, I'd take a laptop into the library.

There just isn't enough demand to justify the investment. It's kind of a shame, but I get it.

i know i was just looking to see if anyone had an actual brain and could think of an easy simple free idea but ya BW was planning to have DLC Prothean free but EA wouldn't let them sell it for free even though its intended vector was the disc. Bioware either might have to cut ties with EA or risk drop in sales for future products.

Everyone thats not in a 3rd world country and has time to waste to play video game has access to the internet in some ways. Theres 3 billion internet user now, thats nearly half the worlds population. You dont have to pay xbox live gold to buy something on its market place btw. If you dont have internet just go to a friend with internet, steal wifi somewhere, what ever. Even people talking about their unreliable internet, that doesent matter its a download that can be paused and resumed indefinitly. The guy that complain that his xbox not having wifi, lol buddy your xbox came with an ethernet cable. If you lost it, thats like a $2 expence, sorry if your life sucks so much that $2 is a big deal, kind of a sign that playing video game and wasting money on dlc is kinda over your budget.

lol man there is so much wrong in your comment idk where to start. the idea that $2 is no big deal. Even though you payed for the game you have to pay another $2 and go down to a GS to get the same as an online player or the fact that you think every plays PC because if they can get on a PC that must mean they can get on xbox live or psn or the fact that 2 mil people are offline playrs that you avoided.

Thats $2 if you lost your cable, you know the one that comes with the freaking xbox? Its your fault not microsoft, ea, bioware or gamestop or who ever you want to blame. They gave you any tool to use the free xbox live silver account to download free content or to buy content. When ever you use it or not is your call. Also yes if you lost your cable and cannot spend $2 on you, you are way too tight in your budget to waste time on gaming.

oh you mean that cable thats only a 2 or 3 feet long? ya btw the link for mine to the adapter is at least 10 feet. anyways if you read its not for me its for people that are offline. so let me take you money you will switch places with my friends or anyone that plays off line and you will in their shoes for a week and then have someone tell you $2 is nothing. haha you believe playing games constitutes you have the money to pay for anything. for example my friends saved up for this since ME2 and this is the only game they own for this year. to tell them they need to pay another $2 even a dime for something that is free is stupid. its like driving around town trying to return a red box movie that is a dollar and spending $4 of gallon of gas to return it haha. you have to think more detailed the situation son

And your troll status is proven. Were I person to save up, as you claim, since ME2's release. It would require a mere $3 per month. If you, your friend or whomever cannot afford that sum, then frankly, you have significantly worse issues than downloading DLC.

lol $60 a year is not $3 a month. wwhere did you do your math. and what status  is proving im trolling? also telling someone they are trolling is trolling just an fyi.

Hopefully you're simply trolling. Just in case you're not, in short: socioeconomic status (which among other things affects one's health, education, and employment) is certainly a civil rights issue. Socioeconomic status, then, will affect (or rather describe) among other things one's ability to secure internet access. Clear enough?

Having internet access is not a civil right, […]

Actually, I cautiously disagree, even though that's not at all what my argument was. US is its own libertarian hellhole, of course, but other countries have already added internet access to the list of basic services that must be guaranteed to all. As I think is right.

But that's all I'll say. If you want to continue to come across as a…well, an unpleasant person who'd rather attack someone who doesn't for some reason have internet access than the company whose fault it is that said person needs the access in this instance, be my guest.

ya but you have to think about it that not everyone has "a friend" they can just barge in their house and use their online. you have to remember that.

Except you dont. You are a staggering minority. The odds of you  having internet on this planet in your own house is over 40%, the odds that you dont know someone with internet is literally nill. Who says anything about barging into anyones house. Asking nicely goes a long way. Hell i used ask the public library to connect my laptop on their network when they didnt have wifi, nothing strange about asking nicly.

so PC gamers pay for online connection or just the connectio nthat all gamers pay? psn charges you to play online? please you should just give up calling someone a troll is trolling.

"minority" haha bring back the 1960s civil rights haha to say minority should be treated differently is a bad way to go in a debate. Anyways not every is going to know someone else and end up in their house. If someone ask you if you could come in and use your xbox connection would you? to a total stranger? and if not, would you let him build his trust so that that way you become "friends" so he can use you for your online connection? overall its just not a good idea

Except you arent being threated differently, you have access to the internet the same way we do. I dont think you understand what civil rights are, kinda show why its obvious why you cant call anyone "son".

no, no threat all all. just some little special treatment thats all. online players free, offline players have to pay haha na not at all right son? :D never in the 1960s was there a whites only signs? you know special treatment? i know history just fine.

You either are very dumb and dont understand what civil rights are or simply a very big troll. Civil rights do not get you access to services, the internet cost money and is a service. You chose or simply cant afford it. You arent threated differently. That has nothing to do with civil rights, please educate yourself or stop trolling. If you cannot spend the money to see a movie, you simply dont see it. You do not have a civil right to entertainement. This is not what civil rights are.

I'm sry it appears this paragraph is on fire. please put out. thanks :)

Reverse Trolling - When someone of little or no intelligence on the internet gets into a discussion, debate, or argument that they cannot keep up with because of their inability to think and process information outside of their closed little mind, and respond by calling the other person more intelligent than them (A TROLL)! This act is therefore TROLLING because it's a cop out to an intelligent conversation by which the one more intelligent is falsely accused of being a troll as a trolling diversion tactic of the Reverse Trolling which is always done by stupid trolls. Also, to call someone a Troll when they are Not A Troll.

If you need a definition of Civil Rights you can pull it off of wiki. but i know if i state then you will say wiki is wrong. i pull it out of a book you still would say the book is wrong. so no way could i give you the definition of civil rights without you going to criticize your interpretation of the definition as you see it as so there is no point in giving you the definition. Tell me where you would accept a definition of Civil Rights. Because they are class of rights that protect a person’s freedom from unwarranted infringement by governments and private organizations and ensure individual’s ability to participate in civil or political life of the state without discrimination or repression. They include the ensuring of peoples’ physical or mental disability, gender, and religion, race, national origin, and age, status as a member of the uniformed service, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Individual rights such as privacy the freedom of thought and conscience, speech and expression, religion, the press, and movement.

so no i am not "trolling" and i know what civil rights are and if i was trolling then why would you respond? If i was a troll aren't you not suppse to feed the troll? if you don't like what you hear then there is nothing holding you back from not responding.

I dont think you understand what have access to the internet means in these country either. It does not mean youll have access to the line in your house free of expense to download video game content. Again you guys are taking this literally.

I dont live in the US(you can tell from my subpar english), i live in one of those country where internet access and information is a right. However you and the op are confused. It means that you have the possibility to access internet, public records and other communication system via public instances, again not xbox live at your will (thats a private service, so are video game private company content). It also ensure that every home will have access to internet, provided they can pay an internet access provider(ISP). It does not actually give you internet.

The op. if living in those country, can go to a public library and use internet there in an informative manner with no discrimination of his revenue. Thats what civil rights are, not being able to download a video game company content on a private video game network is not a civil right infringment. This simply ensure that people living out the city  or anywhere in the country are not forgotten by isp and are require to be given the possibility to have access to the internet.

This will be my last post, you really need to understand what civil rights are and what services are.

Its 3 foot tall, you want the dlc so bad, move the tv and xbox togheter in the internet branching room for 20 minutes. Done deal, cost ya nothing. Not having access to video content is not an infrigement of any civil rights in any country. I should really stop posting here, you are getting ridiculous rofl.

Try to logic your way out of my civil right post. Id like you to quote a civil right chart. Lets do this?

come on we are 21st century, if they use internet to browse, they can download ... use smartphone tethering, or borrow neighbor's connection ... Bioware checks stats of sold games and number of people completed game using online feedback ... so based on that fact they will able to decide whether release disk or DLC

Not having access to video content is not an infrigement of any civil rights in any country. I should really stop posting here, you are getting ridiculous rofl.

Try to logic your way out of my civil right post. Id like you to quote a civil right chart. Lets do this?

Wow you really have horrible excuses. i have to pay them back? where in my contract does it say that? i already posted civil right definition.

Mass effect 2 was released in january 2011. His math is correct.

No he failed to state what he was saying. what i interpreted was $60 a year for LIVE is $5 a month. He didn't detail it to say that to save $3 a month from ME2 to ME3. either way that doesn't justify why should an offline person have to pay $2 to get the same as someone online who gets it free? you have failed to give me a real explanation.

You really expect them to give you a new xbox cable after you lost it haha?Actually all you said was lol 1960, i know my rights. Which you obviously do not, since you dont understand that not having video game content is not a civil right infrigment. ****s done, topics dead. Idiot or big troll.

Either way its 100% not gona be free content, you should also whine about that. Im sure your magical land civil rights cover that too.

You also talk about getting a job while in college during the collapse but now all ove a sudden you live in Canada? which is it? did you live in the US a year ago working 2 jobs going to college or you live in canada? Please dont ****** in my ear and say its raining.
