I hold the line because i honestly love Bioware and the games they make, I hold the line because this was supposed to be the shining star in they're crown, the video game equivelent of the original star wars trilogy and they were sooooo close but at the most critical moment they throw out the core values of the entire ME trilogy of choice & story and give us practically streamlined, plot hole ridden, "speculation for everyone!"

I hold the line because I've been a fan of Bioware for 14 years & own every single game they've made since BG1 and never seen them drop the ball like this, and they owe it if not to us fan's and the promises they made, but to themselves to do better.

But it's not about happy endi...oh I give up. I could've sworn happy endings was the one thing people in the Retake Movement said they did NOT want.

What about choices, like in DA:O?
Personally I want happy ending (=/= Disney ending) or at least a bad ending when I can stay true to my Shepard to the end:
-Let the kid speaks and then got back to conventional war. (good ending only if everything was done optimally, so there would be a reason to play the whole trilogy again)
or
-Flee with the Normandy crew and let the rest of the Galaxy dies.

MaestroX101 needs to keep reading if he thinks no one in the Retake Movement wants a "happy" endng. Because there are tons of people that would like the option for a happy ending.

I don't. Holding the line is silly.

Not more than criticizing the ones who does.

I hold the line not because of any personal issues with the ending.  I'm a late comer to the series and although I like it and think it is an amazing game, it's not my favourite genre and I don't have an emotional investment in it. To me ME3 is an incredible game with a silly ending.

However, I understand that others do have an emotional investment in the Mass Effect series and I absolutely believe that those fans have a logical reason to feel that the ending is an unsatisfactory conclusion to their stories and that it makes little sense in the context of the world developed throughout the games.

I hold the line because I believe these fans deserve to be given a satisfying ending to the story that they have invested their time, money and emotions in over the past few years.  Posted Image

I feel this needs to be asked again, because I don't think the motive of the Retake Movement is as...clear and precise as it was weeks ago.

I don't any more, it's gotten out of hand and silly. And I've come to terms with the fact that the ending won't change and so seek to look at the good sides and what will possible come with DLC.

That being said, I was holding the line from European release (when I managed to get the game) and it was only yesterday I stopped. Got tiring and pointless, only positive was the charities.
