Does anyone know if your weapons get the effect from rank 6 ammo powers activated by squadmates?

What I mean by this is, if James has incendiary ammo evolved to rank 6 (explosive burst) does just he get the explosive burst effect, or do you & the 2nd squadmate gain it as well? Whether yes or no, is this consistent for every other power as well?
