You know, one of the things I hate most about the whole ending furore is the emo wankers who accuse everyone who legitimately hates the ending for its bad points of just wanting a 'disney ending'. Thank you for the Jack comics, which, when combined with the entire impressive and well-received series, are the biggest middle finger possible to those idiots. This is awesome. Not perfect - I mean, if this had been the game's real ending we'd be calling Nihlus an out-of-the-blue DEM, and it relies too heavily on many characters being aline when they could be dead - but as an alternative ending response to the junk of the actual endings, it's gloriously entertaining.

I knew the Maurader Sheild joke and all, and peripherally heard about this comic, but thought it was just more jokes.
This is FREAKING AMAZING WORK.
The art is better than most comics I've read, the writing and dialogue are superb, and it is writing the ending we all wanted! It references things we did in ME1 and 2! And who Maurader Sheilds is - AAAAAAAAAA!!!!
I don't think I care about EC anymore. This is my canon now.

But this could be just one of the possible endings that should've come with ME3, that's the beauty of it, if someone wants to make another ending like Kooba did, then there should be absolutely no trouble.

I hadn't read any after the first five, which I found amusing but not epic or anything. But damn did I pick the wrong spot to stop. Every one since then has been absolutely amazing. Have been reading them with the 'recommended music' in the background and have been getting chills in places (e.g. Jack tearing cannibals apart) and choking up a little in others (e.g. Salarians and Krogans fighting together). The Nihilus angle? Pure genius. The codex entries? Awesome.
Such great work - exactly the emotional rollercoaster that the rest of the game before the ending did so well and exactly what I wanted out of the ending. Is there artist/author on here? They deserve mucho kudos.

I already said this on twitter and deviantart, but seriously, dude, this is the most perfect thing in my life right now. I enjoy so much reading your comics, seeing all the wonderful Mass Effect images and atmospheres you come up with, and listening to these fabulous audiobooks.
You are certainly working hard to gather your ideas, your texts, and your amazing team, and the results are absolutely worth it.
I'm not saying BioWare should replace the ending with this one or whatever, but this is really a great complement to the Mass Effect storylines and I hope even BioWare will appreciate it.
