There have been many good ideas about what the ending should have been, but this far and away blows them out of the water. Great art, great plot point, call backs that would have made decisions feel validated if they were in the game and great pacing when jumping between each character.

The best part I thought was who Marauder Shields actually was blew my mind, can't praise this enough.

Meh, it's so cliché. I'm surprised so "many" like it. It's alot of well-put work into it tho, so I'm not going to go hating on it. I'm just not a sucker for cliché stuff. Also, there's abit of Space Magic in the comic as well, so I'm not fan of a somewhat counter-productive whishawash.

Still nice tho.

If Jack singlehandedly brings down a Reaper I am going to be giddy with happiness.

This comic is so good I'm mystified that the actual lead writer managed to get it so incredibly wrong. Even with this starting out as a joke, the writer gets Mass Effect so well that he's managed to weave the silliness into a proper dramatic storyline so incredibly well it doesn't notice.

Such a shame Walters and Hudson decided to change direction in the last 15 minutes to hyper misery and high school depth philosophy, rather than go all out into awesomeness like this comic is proving is so very easy to do with this wonderful franchise.
