<3<3<3 Can't wait! I always thought that the Geth/Quarians should have played a big role in the finale! (Hello! "Mind the size of a galactic arm", anyone?!) And remember, Geth are/were programs, not the platforms. There's nothing saying that some of Legion's programs couldn't have transferred out of his platform and still be knocking around the Geth...collective?

As for Mordin, I openly admit crying like a baby. Mordin, you magnificent child-born-out-of-wedlock! Why isn't there an icon for cheering through tears? :crying:/:O

Thank you to everyone for their comments! Sorry I wasn't replying earlier...  Hard to believe that I haven't been replying for around 2 months now when it comes to BSN... DeviantArt swallowed up my whole attention.

I don't know why you decided to switch from parody to outright alternate ending, but it works so well and the artwork is beautiful.
My favourite page remains the one on the Citadel with Bailey, it was just such a brilliant touch to show one of the things game never did.

AlsoIwanttoseemoreJavik.

Thank you, Angry One, I hope you'll enjoy the series 'til the very end (we're still eons away, may I add), I'm doing my best to fill in all the plotholes and fix all the inconsistencies of Mass Effect 3 and yet provide an emotional pay-off on the scale that I expected from the game itself. No StarChild, that's my a promise for ya'. ;) Oh, and definitely more Bailey and Javik.

Right now they're actually going deeper and deeper into it's unexplored core. ;)

While im not an IT supporter I can certainly support good art. It looks incredible and it's done with emotion and the characters feel right considering the setting and story given.
Beautiful work.

Thank you, greatly appreciated!

The love and respect for the characters just pours out of this comic. Of all the things to come out of the ending palaver, I think this is my absolute favourite. No matter what happens tomorrow, I'll be holding on to see how this ends. A truly magnificent end to the series :')

I've got nothing but hugs, thank-yous and a pinch of love to give for this comment. :)

J.Random wrote...

Spread the word, soldiers! This comic is definitely worth to be read. And listened, by the way: there is an audiobook version of some episodes. In the end, it will be a full interactive comic, where your choices WILL MATTER. I believe in koobismo and his crew, that is why I will try to keep this topic on forum top. This epicness deserves it.

This words are almost forgotten here, but...
HOLD THE LINE.

Thanks, J.Random, for these words and for keeping the thread alive while I was gone! :)

Still loving the comic think it's awesome. Query thou were those Halo references in the codex entry for the latest issue or is that just a funny coincidence?

Ahaha, I see what you did there .

Thanks for this phenomenal comics, Koobismo & Awesomists. I've really enjoyed it so far. It has the Mass Effect-ish "let's kick some ass together" feeling and it's a very confident candidate for my canon finale.

PS. Recommended background songs are epic, very fitting into ME style.

I never posted but read the marauders comics over and over. It deserves some praise ! Bravo.

Still, I'm curious to know how do you proceed with the artwork ? Do you use the engine to make scenes and paint over it with Photoshop ?

Thank you, SkullStrife! :) And, yeah, we're actually going to return to the dream sequences soon, add more sense and meaning to them. Stay tuned. ;)

Oh, those were shout-outs, I like to play with them a lot. These are truly just shout-outs, though, not crossovers or anything alike - I just enjoy putting a familiar name (and a wink of an eye) to a character, event or a plot device I've constructed, just for the fun of it.

Well, I'm not really expecting them to, they have their own vision. But they're incredibly cool about it anyway - I've received a ton of support, love and TEH FEELS from all over BW. :)

In short, yeah, that's the basic rundown. I will post a more detailed description soon (you can already find it pasted a few times in the comment section of at least three or four comics, truth be told), as it's become a way more complicated, advanced and time-consuming process as of late (a lot more manual work), but that nails the basics.

Thanks you for answering. I'd like to add that even thought I'm not that good at the english langage, I'm actually impressed by the dialogue bits. They seems to top most of ME3's writing quality, and I'm not exagerating out of spite for Bioware... Really, I'll keep coming back for more Marauders comics !

I never post on DeviantArt, but I've been following the comics for a while and I'm continually impressed by the awesome art, the writing and the level of detail and thought that obviously goes into each one. Thanks Koobismo and team for an incredible work of fandom - this will forever be part of Mass Effect for me.

Hey everyone! I think I can safely say that Koobs, the entire Marauder Shields team, and myself greatly appreciate all the support, comments, shares, and acknowledgment from such amazing and devoted ME fans.

As for myself, it is so incredible to be part of the voice team. The amount of talent in this entire project is mind-blowing. We all really appreciate the kind words and critiques in how to sound more like the characters we all love.

Thank you for all the support guys! This is seriously wonderful.

Hold the line!

@Koobarex: Thank you so much for your extraordinary work.  I've been following it for months now, and it is the only thing at this point that manages to tap back into my well of love for this franchise.

This is phenomenal material that truly captures everything that I thought was missing from Mass Effect 3 (and the heartbreak of its ending).  These are the characters I remember.  And the beautiful audacity of making their unwillingness to flee the centrepoint for your telling of the tale was a masterstroke.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

(And I have to give innumerable praise to your sly pop cultural references too (Firefly, Battlestar, etc) you have some taste.  You have some gorram taste and some mightly fine talent.)

Keep on flyin'.
