I actually started reading these comics when I saw this thread, and although I haven't read all of 'em yet I already have to say that (besides the first ones that obviously weren't meant to be anything "serious" to put it) they seem to build up to a greater ending than the goddamn original, aswell as bringing some closure, unlike the original.

Long time b/w posts but I'm very happy to give this thread a bump (and b/c there is a new panel just out)

I only came across koobismo's Marauder Shields comic via a thread on one of the ME3 forums and found myself hooked by his compelling storytelling and uniquely well visualised take on the ending of Shepard's story.

For the ME fan who hasn't yet read his comics (easily found via google search for marauder shields comic), do yourself a favour and check them out.

This is indeed one of the more important episodes to myself, hopefully nailing how I feel and always felt about the Mass Effect experience. For all the people reading it - check out my lil' afterword in the Deviation's description (underneath the comic).

Keep readin'! The second part of the mid-season finale will hopefully be as well received as the first one.

Okay I just watched every comic released so far. All I can say is..wow. If this is the ending we got, this series would go down as one of the greatest in history (which I already think it is). Speechless. So happy you guys told me about these.

Another bump for the fantastic Marauder Shields. IF you haven't read these yet, check 'em out - they are how ME3 should've ended.
