is there a limit to the number of times I can upgrade a weapon in NG+? I am trying to fully upgrade my raptor but I got stuck at VII in my last NG+ and it did not appear on my weapon upgrade screen anymore...I might not have picked it up on sur'kesh that time

will I be able to just buy off the rest of the upgradesof the bat on the normandy in my next NG+ run or will I have to wait and pick it up on sur'kesh again?

this is kinda confusing

To be able to upgrade a weapon to Level X in NG+ you have to pick it up on the mission in which it appears during your NG+ run. You missed it on Sur'Kesh, so it is locked at Level VII. Picking it up in NG+ awards the weapon three times, which accounts for your missing levels.

Note that you do not have to have acquired the weapon in the original game, you just have to pick it up in NG+ to be able to upgrade to X. Also, DLC weapons and the Spectre weapons do not have this limitation. You can simply upgrade them to X because there is no place to pick them up.

I'm not so sure about that. It seems to me that the spectre termial and the kiosks allow you to buy things that you missed on missions, providing that you haven't exceeded their time limits.
