If it was just its solution to the chaos that is organic life/evolution that would be one thing, but it's specifically to preserve organic life to keep it from being killed by synthetics, even though it's preserving organic life by killing it with synthetics.

It's mostly to stop organic for killing themselves off with there tech....It almost happen with project overlord.

That's still preventing organic life from being killed off by that tech by killing off organic life with different tech. Starkid's motivation is ridiculous no matter which way you slice it.

How many time do the reapers have to say harvests life  to be reamde to reaper for people to get that they are havesting life to make reapers.

Yes they make reapers... which are synthetics made from organic slushie. No matter how you look at it, they are killing organics, to make synthetics, so that organics dont get killed by synthetics. Its mind boggling how stupid that is.

Project Overlord was also not the technological singularity. Project Overlord was a botched attempt at bringing the geth under Cerberus control, because, as ME3 reveals, The Illusive Man has been indoctrinated for a long time, and hid behind political pretty words and used Shepard to advance his goal of human dominance through reaper control.

Not to mention, that all this is simply a strawman argument, to the real problem of for the first time ever in the series, Shepard not calling them on this bull****.

Ok...Let's take some time to look at this in a new view.

Before saying they are kill organics any way...Let;s define what we think being alive is. To use humans it means having consusnes, self-awarness, and ego, the ability to mentally grow and advance and etc. We see thais as being alive....Which is why we see brain death as true death. In the case of brain death, the functioning mind is gone but the body is still alive. With out the mind we see the body as dead.
But what about machines? How would a machines logic see a brain dead person?
That's awnsered based on how we treat a computer with hard drive failure....If a computers hard drive fail, do we morn the computer and and bury it? No, I just replace the damaged harddrive. Based on a machince logic, if a person is brain dead, nothing really is wrong, they would just replace the brain with something equal.
The problemi s not that the reaper's are killing us...It's that they have a differnent value to life and being alive.
Thsi is clearly seen with the collectors...

So your answer is "Speculation for everyone." Quaint.

Reminds me of The Auditors in Terry Pratchett's Discworld.

It not a speculation if the reapers are clearly doing this. Heck, Saren in ME1 states that the reapers clearly think like machines.

You are still speculating on how machines think, and reaper thought process. Ultimately, our only insight to that is what starkid says (lul), and thats just circular logic based around killing organic life to make synthetics so that they can kill future organic civilization so as it wont be killed by synthetics.

You've never refuted this or why it isnt just blatantly false, and anything trying to explain it is speculation, not fact.

This is why the statement fails.

The very fact the the collector exsist the way they are and Saren says the reapers think like machines proves my point.

That Catalyst made the Reapers as a solution to chaos. THAT'S IT. Not out of altruism. Not out of a protective instinct. These things are mentioned, yes, but they are secondary to the purely selfish reason that he prefers order to chaos. Any time the altruism card is played or a Reaper says, "we are your salvation" Shepard rightly calls bull****. Yes, it's in the narrative. When you post "yo dawg" you are adding nothing. Nothing! Shepard already calls foul. Many many times.

Sounds like you looked like this when you wrote it, OP

I'll respond though. That makes nothing about the ending any better the bottom line is it's terrible and the whole thing needs to be thrown out, retconned with indoctrination theory, or something else entirely.
