And the people reporting the problem on this forum aren't the only ones that are having issues, so that logic goes nowhere.
if you think the logic goes no where your sadly wrong. how long did it take humanity to figure out the earth was round after they were told it was round? the logic isn't flawedits just your interpritation that is flawed.
It's so easy to say bs like that when it's not your problem .
I've never said i wasn't affected by the memory leak, it just doesn't bother me to have to restart the game once every 4 hours.I want to see a fix, or at least an attempt at a fix, or Bioware announcing they are working on a fix, or announcing they haven't figured out what the problem is. I mean hell, even the new patch only addressed a tiny fraction of the balance issues the game has. The people using the toolset have fixed a lot of these issues weeks ago.
One thing to remember that when a gamer makes a fix they dont have to go through 90 pages of red tape just to release it, nor have it sent to other departments to test it out to make sure that it doesn't crash the game.
Patchs don't come out of nowhere, there is a reason why 1.02 is the way it is. They might not have all the information yet needed to fix the memory leak, we're looking at 15 gigs of information they have to sort through to track it down, repeating the same stupid thing over and over again so that they can watch the memory and go ok it was caused there, go onto the next area do the same thing etc until they have all the points that it is caused at, noted. send it down the pipe to the next group that then tracks down the common element in each area and than just test that element to verify that it does cause the memory leak. sends the info down the pipe again, they than have to address how it wasn't working correctly and fix it than test that fix to make sure they are on the correct tract so they can then send it down to the next group. so on and so forth till it reachs this website. Its not a one step process like you think it should be.
To put that into another way if 5 minutes of songs is 4 megs thats 77,312 minutes, which is 1288.5 hours which at 8 hour days comes out to 161 days of listening to the same things over and over again (this is of course assuming only 1 person is working on it which would be a poor business move for a game this large)... How i wish patchs would be like microwaving dinner, 2 minutes and everyone would be happy instead of grumpy.
But than again i am one of those people that do make others wait in line when there being demanding and irrational. So feel free to take everything with a tablespoon of salt. Wait no make that a cup...
I happen to like salt, and it's nice to see your interpretation of what I said proved my point about getting us nowhere. The fact is many companies can release patches for issues in a reasonable amount of time. I don't really care if it's Bioware or EA's fault, as they might as well be one in the same in this case. It's been a month and I don't want to play the game anymore if I have to keep restarting every 30 minutes. (Not 4 hours). You could argue that you're being just as irrational as the people complaining by simply posting in this thread, yet somehow you don't seem to want to understand how people posting here feel about paying for a subpar product. Hell some people can't even access the dlc they technically paid for. There's nothing demanding or irrational about expecting better from a developer of Bioware's calibur.
