1)Canonize the Old God Baby?
- not everyone play as male warden.
- Loghain died saving ferelden. NO baby.
2) Forced to play as a seeker or a mage who is working for the chantry but not a seeker himself.
that means the players will be Playing human again because the maker/Andraste are a HUMAN religion, city elves/surfice dwarves will probably try to convert to that religion because they have lost their root but what about the dalish? is DA3 forgeting or ignoring the dalish elves because they don't "fit" in it?..

3) Main character is not ferelden or a relative to any if not all possible wardens from Dragon age: origen.

Dragon age Origens: warden's
warden-dalish- merril
Human Noble-
Dwarf casteless-
Noble dwarf-
Mage-Human-Hawke
Mage elf-
City elf-

You want to "feel" that you're stuff matters? then make it a bit "more personal" not something like:getting an orlasian to save the world from Ferelden's gone bad in kirkwall.. do that make any sense? whats the connection? the connection is severed the moment you make an orlasian. lol

The conection should be (and was always meant to be) it happens in the same setting.

Having the protaganist always be related to a former one/Fereldan makes the setting seem really small or worse, makes it seem like the protaganist's bloodline is super speshul.

Personally I think Bioware should stop having cheap fanservicey shout-outs to past DA's and instead just focus on writing a coherent story that can survive on its own merits.

Keep trying to win back those who'll never accept anything other than a complete return to DAO. Some people will never be pleased and are poised to hate everything about the game before even playing it. But that's just my opinion though, no need to spread it around.

Doing to DA3 what they did to ME3. Rush it and lie about its content. Otherwise there's half a million things that always can go wrong

There's no reason to look at ME3 for that. They already did this (at least the rush part) with DA2.

I know people want to see characters from the other games, but I really hope they don't bring back any of the companions from 2, except for Varric. I just have this bad feeling that if they do bring them back, either their stories are going to go off the rails or something bad will happen to them. I didn't like the way DA:2 ended but I'm happy to leave the companions in my imagination and am scared the they will just be RUINED.

Yesterday, evening, I 'researched' ME3's infamous ending on Youtube. So I'll have to say that one of the worst things they can do, is to truncate DA3 with a vulgar, crude, illogical, 'deus ex machina' -abomination, which utterly invalidates everything the player has done in the game, and then have some suit depreciate gamers' intelligence and education, by pissing some crap about "artistic vision" in our faces.

Luckily, that will never happen. I'm sure David Gaider would never accept anything like that. (no sarcasm here, I really trust him on that).

Otherwise I think EA (who may have caused the ME3 ending by demanding MP?), Bioware and the ME-fans (who still sucked up to BW after they had ruined DA2), all deserve the ME3 ending. Posted Image

If I didn't feel that it was an actual blending between Origins and DA2, but ending up just being a better DA2. That would really disappoint me.

Kinect/Move controls
Facebook/Twitter integration
Microtransactions
Day One DLC
Origin exclusive
No tactical camera
Dialogue wheel with worthless paraphrases
Multiplayer that sucks resources away from single player
No mod support
Making combat more real time, thereby further marginalizing full party tactical control
Not beefing up the graphics on a technical level
Mage/Templar War with one note cardboard cutouts like Orsino and Meredith
Rushing the game out
Not including some kind of narrative dénouement
Import bugs
Pointless cameos and/or bugged cameos
Uncanny Valley plastic faces like DA2
Recycled dungeons/maps
and probably more...

ending it like ME3 with "Artistic Integrity" plotholes

When I form my expectations about Dragon Age 3, I like to stay positive. As such, things I think that would improve DA3 would be the inclusion of more pirates and a griffon. Especially the griffon.

Having companions in DA3 that were previously companions in the previous two games.

Although it sounds like a good idea, it would present no end of problems and uproar from fans if the characters didn't behave how they did in their previous saved games etc, there are too many variables that could go horribly wrong. Plus, would you be happy if, for example Alistair came back as a companion in DA3 but romanced your Warden in DA:O, people would either complain that he's non-romanceable or complain that he's suddenly romanceable again even though he pledged his undying love for the Warden... the risk is too high.

Having past companions coming back as cameo's is fine, so long as they make sure the romance and story flags don't glitch. We all saw the fall out that occured when Zevran reappeared in DA2 seemingly forgetting he was ever in a relationship with the Warden and tried his luck with Hawke lol.

Break Duke Nukem Forever's record - and disappoint similarly when it finally does get released. :/

I mean, DA3 should be given the time needed to do it right, but longer than a decade of development time is overdoing it a little....

DA3...

Should NOT go further down the Action route than DA2 did. In fact it should come back closer to DAO.

On-rails magic/arrow shooter. With recycled maps. Starring the Old God Baby.

Come on, BioWare. You know you were thinking about it.

Considering EA, I doubt that there's any chance of beating DNF's record.

I would say almost right in the middle would be a good spot for striking a balance, and no more over the top moves like throwing a bottle of poison in the air and jump spin kicking it towards the enemies.
