What's the worst thing BioWare could do with DA III?

They added almost nothing and used a lot of resources that could have gone into better things.

Brockololly, why did you bother making a list? You could just summarize with "Actually Make Dragon Age 3".
No, I actually want to see what they do with Dragon Age III. I think its a potentially interesting world and could make for a solid game, depending on what they're going to prioritize and what they've learned from DA2 and DAO.
If I didn't have any interest in DA3, I wouldn't bother posting here.

The worst thing Bioware could do is to try to design DA3 from the input given on the forums. Some of which is just plain mutually exclusive.
See! That's what I said! Only you said it better.

What thing would you absolutely hate for the devs to do?
Make it an MMO?
Canonize the Old God Baby?
Bring Anders back from the dead even if you killed him in DA II?
Introduce guns into the setting?
It already plays like you're dual-boxing an MMO. I think it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if, after they've gone through the meta-story and achieved whatever is the "new world state", they decide to create a DA MMO. Could be cool. But not for DA3.
I think the OGB is going to reappear in some form, with some handwaving over how exactly this state of affairs came about. If Morrigan is determined to get an OGB, I'm sure she can stun some guy long enough to accomplish it, and apparently there are a few scary immortal godlike souls floating around, so it's plausible she could find ONE.
Bringing Anders back would bring on my nerdrage--unless he's some kind of horrible monstrous abomination undead boss. And ON FIRE. That might actually be kind of cool.
The setting already has guns. Well, cannon. But close enough.
That being said, I'm not sure there's a "worst" for me--I'm not good at coming up with ways to ****** myself off. Usually other people have to do that for me. But I'll tell you one thing that would make me absolutely crazed: if they insist on bringing back one of the old companions as a new companion. No. Even my favorite companions (Varric and Sten), have had their scenes, exit stage left. Leave them be.

With Biowares track record of late I think they can do worse.I hope they improve it ten fold, but i have my doubts.eyesofastorm wrote...
They already took the franchise in a direction where I wouldn't follow. They can't do worse... only better. And I wish that thought was as encouraging as it should be.

Make another default white straight dude as the "iconic hero" for marketing purposes (trailers, etc), because it is too 'confusing' for consumers, and using that falsehood as an excuse for it.

1. Turn a wRPG into a JRPG due to inappropriate way to handle the story and character or to cater to a certain group's preferred playstyle while completely disregard the other group's preferred playstyle - which could possibly cause polarization.Maria Caliban wrote...

WRPG - You're in the story ( internal ). JRPG - You're outside the story directing a character in a story or commonly known as out-of-character perception ( External ). Each genre target different market. As long as BioWare target different market under the pretext of accessibilty, they will continue to receive massive backlash from the fans.
Reconsider what elements could potential seperate player from their character and try to avoid it. Just because a group of people enjoy playing the role of a MOVIE DIRECTOR in interactive story doesn't mean eveyone else has to be alienated. Just look at Skyrim. 10 millions people played in a game spesifically designed for you to be the character in the story ( internal ) and shape your own adventure ( freedom of choices ). Do you see any massive backlash at metacritic? It's not a perfect game but it caters to more people than any of recent Bioware games.
2. Anders is dead. Bringing him back ( I know it's more likely going to happen ) would not help my view with the story.
