Squadmates were better in ME2, ME3 only had a couple decent ones.
Being chased by giant lobsters while planet scanning was stupid.
Doing side quests by "eavesdropping" was stupid, along with the broken Journal system.
War assets were kinda lame. Made lamer by requiring you to play Multiplayer to get the best results.
ME3's opening was boring. Not as good as ME1 and ME2.
The magnet on Shepards ass in ME3 was annoying. Stick to walls whether you want to or not.
The Love Interests were not very good in ME3.
Overall, ME3 was decent. Around 60% good. ME2 was the better game.

a/ crappy ending
b/ not enough dialogue options or choices
c/ irrelevant how you play earlier games the ending for ME3 is virtually the same (though to be fair earlier game choices do affect the main plotline just not the end)
d/ awful side missions and the scanning was a dog. Much better handled in ME1/ME2 IMO

EDIT: Oh I despise the eavesdroping missions I feel like Bioware is cutting corners.

Even if the game had a great ending, it was a disappointment. Not a massive disappointment, but it didn't live up to the potential that was set by the Tuchanka and Rannoch missions all the way through.

True ME3 was more linear then ME2 but I didn't care much. I still liked the gameplay. But if you compare ME3 to something like soup, well it misses salt and spices.
More engaging sidequests, better journal system, few more planets to visit, more squadmembers, more LIs would help a lot.
And for the bugs/glitches, I guess they're known by now. Looks like something went wrong after or during quality check. I atleast trust Bioware to fix these problems.
I do hope we get some DLCs that resolves the other issues.
In the end, thanks Bioware for a great universe and some of the best games made despite the flaws.

I agree that the game was stellar however I was very disappointed with the choice of planets to visit. E.g ME1 you could visit the Citadel, waddle around for half an hour just inspecting every last corner of the station. In ME2 you could; once again visit the Citadel whenever you wanted (not as large and open as in the previous game though) and you could visit the getto Omega, which was alot of fun, doing sidequests for Aria, the mercenaries etc. And when it comes to ME3 we had 5 merly 5 levels (not counting the Normandy dock) of the Citadel which were all transported to by the "fancy" elevator. Have to wander around in such a narrow place and hoping that it'll make up for the expectations of open world exploring is depressing, and considering that there weren't any other planets or locations that you could visit regulary. The exaggerated linearity was actually the ONLY thing that botherd me throughout the entire game... (Obviously the black hole of missing plot bothered me aswell but that wasn't the subject of the topic)
I could forgive this if we had more dialogue trees and such and more "proper" sidequests in the Citadel.Rather than go scan a planet, come back to Citadel and hear two lines, quest finished.

Not really a criticism but when I played ME2 for the PS3 almost all the DLC was included. So, perhaps ME3 felt a bit shorter. Otherwise, I enjoyed playing the game and will continue to do so.
I pity you. PITY.
No ME1 for you (PS3). WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?
I know the feeling RACDB. For a different reason. My Xbox died.
