I've looked at some videos on Jade Empire, but I'm not convinced if I should buy a copy on my Xbox 360. My first Bioware game ever was Dragon Age: Origins, so I'm trying to branch out in their past. Even after so many years, is the game still worth getting?
Is It Worth Getting?

Do you have a PC that might be capable of running it? I recall the xbox version having some issues running on the 360, you might want to look into those first.
Definitely worth a look. Don't go into it expecting it to be similar to Dragon Age though, it's much shorter and has a lot less of the classic RPG conventions (stats/weapons and the like). But if you're in it for the story like me, especially if you like something different from the standard medieval fantasy fare, then you'll probably enjoy it.

I'd rather not get it for my PC, not a PC gamer. Besides, I would be downloading it to my Xbox 360, not sure if that makes a difference. I didn't have any trouble with the first Fable. I guess I'll give it a try when I have some money to spare, it does seem interesting.

The 360 version has a few missing textures, but nothing major.
The story is fun, and the ambience is great.

I am playing through it for the first time now on the Xbox 360. It indeed has missing textures, but I am having a blast. Fantastic Bioware game.

Your first playthrough? I'm jealous. If you haven't been spoiled yet, I won't do it, but let me say that it has a plot twist that puts KoTOR to shame...

I did know a bit about the plottwist. But I saw it coming anyway. The thing that did stand out to me as really nicely done are the revelations made about Death's hand. That made me go "OMG!"

To this day, it's still one of my favourite games. Actually played through it again about a year ago.
