I've heard alot of people on here complain about how strong the mages are in battle, compared to warriors and rogues. I agree, but I think the main reason is the stamina costs or lack of a deeper stamina pool for the warriors/rogues. They have cool specialties, like Reaver, and cool abilities in there talent chains, but it costs so much to use some of them that they burn out attacking way to quick.
Either making there stamina pool larger or making there talents cost less would mean more stacking, more attacks, more Action, more FUN!! Hopefully, someone will take notes, as I am not the only one that sees the mages being overpowered. Just bring the Warriors up with them by allowing us to stack abilitites in battle, without costing so much stamina. I end up always using the Warden Commander armor cause it has such a stamina boost.
Love the game!
P.S.-Make the two handed school attacks faster. The wind up for the basic attack with two-handed weapons is ssslow.
Stamina pool needs to be deeper for Warriors and Rogues.

Invest in Willpower and you will get more stamina. Pretty simple solution to the problem. Warden Commander boots also provide a nice boost. I would also recommend investing in equipment that boosts stamina regeneration.

Sometimes I think those boots were added in to specifically address this issue. Difference is like night and day, once you get those.

Right guys, I just wish they gave the Warriors/Rogues that stamina boost provided by that armour built-in to the character. I also wish Warriors got more points for talents. You basically have to pick 1 school with them, where as Mages can dip into all majic schools. You can do it with Warriors but you end up with like 2-3 moves for each weapon and its lame.

They mainly need stamina potions There is a few mod that add that. Here is one:

That would work, yeah, you almost have to get the final death blow stamina re-gen in the warrior chain to gain back some in battle. It helps alot.

And pretty sure the 2 handed weapon are meant to be slow, cant wield such an heavy weapon as fast as a single handed blade or mace.

The ability to make stamina pots from Deep Mushrooms (Ruck is also an unlimited vendor for mushrooms).
More variety for for Warrior/Rogue abilities. Things like Passive Cleave abilities (hit 2 enemies with normal attacks at once), Charge attacks, Throw Weapon, etc.

Items with +stamina pr +regen help a lot, but willpower is also a good investment. Still it depends on what type of warrior/rogue you play.
If you have many sustained abilities and passives then you barely use skills, but if you play with many skills, it'd be better to disable most of the sustained ones...
I found out that it's not tough to balance after all, tbh, especially for a DPS hero, as they can go in light armour and have no problem whatsoever... My DPS warrior is in light armour and has ~-5% fatigue, so I even get to use skills cheaper than normal.

I downloaded the stam pot mod the other day and it has made the game 2x as fun for me. It doesn't feel like a "god-mod" or anything - it just seems balanced. Since downloading that mod, I removed Wynne from my group and put Leilana back in to have DW Rogue (PC), Allistair Tank, Leilana, & Morigan.
Now that DW & Archery Rogue can use the stam pots like Mages use Lyrium pots, it makes the game seem way more balanced and fun. Using 2 Mages was way more of a god-mode than a balanced group with stam pots.
+1 to whoever made that mod - by far the best impact on my game experience of anything out there.

What I'd like is a slightly larger, perhaps even doubled, in-combat stamina regeneration.

@ themaxzero, I like your ideas. The Mages powers are so cool, it would be nice to have a big special attack or 2 for rogues or warrior players. Like a slice an entire group of enemies attack for wariors or like being able to stealth attack for a couple minutes with rougue. It doesn't help that final blow for Beserkers appears to be broke for the ps3 version. Every time I used it it took away all my stamina but did less damage than critical strike. How amazing it would be if it actually worked we'll never know.

Rogues don't need deeper stamina , mine never runs out

How's that even possible? Any and all rogues or warriors I have blow their stamina in five seconds flat and then take forever to recouperate.Tonya777 wrote...

Aye, Leliana's in full armour and she actually has positive fatigue (yeah that surprised me).
Warrior's though, fair enough. Massive armour takes up 20% of fatigue eventually doesn't it? 20 Will + sta equipment = sorted though.

That and the regen spells need to be better. MUCH better. I would imagine something like this has been modded already, though. Anyone know where?

If you manage it right, it's just fine as is. If you don't manage it right, well, that's your problem, really.
A starting tip: Sustained abilities reduce the maximum amount of stamina you can have, but they don't actually reduce stamina to activate if it is not above to new maximum.

about those sustained abilities: i really wonder if the mentioned stamina saving way is design or a bug.
anyway i see no use in giving my rogue archer lots of stamina really. what it comes down to is shooting those arrows after i triggered a few sustains, if not then some poison on a few daggers is effective enough.
shale has enough base stamina and then i have sten ... but with a shield. since he's just taking hits mostly instead of using slow stamina eating 2h techniques (which he still has btw) he does not need much either when i give him a highly enchanted artifactlike war axe.
