The gameplay gets better; the story gets worse.

Well...

i've been giving this some though and while at lot of the things i come up with require more than one sentence to do it justice, i have to say if i would only have one.. it would be this:

It was, at the end, just a dispointing waste of time.

Can I use one really long run-on sentence? Oh alright...here's one sentence that is intended to get the gist of the entire thing from ME1 to ME2 to ME3:

EPIC...Wow...fail.

The games got better, characters got better, but ultimately the main story went in a direction I do not really like.

Many choices lay ahead... absoultely none of them matter

A true tabletop RPG: begins very well, but in the end when everyone is tired you should gets to sleep instead of finishing it.

The point of at least 60 hours of goodness? Not even going to dignify that with an answer.

Edit: I guess I'm just a bit weird here, because I don't play for the occasional barely existant (it's always been that way, not just ME3) choices and consequences, nor do I forget the good times in just a few minutes.
