How does a mass email like this go out without EA knowing?...

I contacted origin on the phone last night and today. Last night they hung upon on me and when i called back i realized i called them minutes before they were to shut down. Called several more times today and after long periods of being on hold i would get hung upon again. From what i can gather they didn't even know what i was talking about. Hopefully this gets resolved i wonder if the e-mail was sent way ahead before they implemented this compensation. So if you ware planning on calling origin i suggest you don't so that you won't waste your time. I am gonna give a day or two more before i call again.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely wait until I ask about this again. Maybe it will resolve itself after Operation: Raptor.

Just got off the line with Origin tech support. They sent me a new N7 Collector's Edition key to try, no luck. Still waiting on the rifle/shotgun pack with the rest of you.

Looks like this one is going to be a bit of a headache for these folks....

I figured it was a heads up that they were going to add the entitlement later this afternoon/evening. Its been the same case with the N7 Weekend packs showing up late. They just didn't say anything about when we were going to get them in the E-mail.

By the way, The Collector's Packs DON'T show up on the Registered Promo section. I have two of them and either don't show up.

Actually, if you look carefully, you will see a section on your entitlements page called "Registered Prodcuts." All four Collector rifle codes I got added the relevant item to that section.

This is the first exception so far.

Alright, I've been thinking on this one. It doesn't seem feasible to do this without a code. After all, if that were the case, we wouldn't have needed separate codes for the Argus, the Raider, the N7 Weapons, or the Collector's Edition content.

It is entirely possible that the account used to preorder the items is different from the email with which they are registered. Maybe it was preordered as a gift for someone else. Maybe it was resold. Maybe the person just made a mistake.

Whatever the case may be, something *should* show up on our entitlements pages if/when we are given the pack.

(Which hasn't happened yet for me, just in case you were wondering)

I think it is feasible because I believe the collector assault rifle already exists in the multiplayer as a weapon  but only for those who bought the art book and those of us who SHOULD have the pack, again I'm not 100% sure but from what based on observations it seems as though this will be how the dlc is distributed whenever it will come out

I recieved the email as well. The next time is was playing the multiplayer and went to the store the package was there waiting for me, I opened it and got the collector rifle and some other equipment stuff.

I'm going to go out on a limb and make a guess here I think the porblem is: If you didn't have the collector rifle before then it's showing up but if you already have one or more then it's not.

Please state if you have one already from some other purchas and whether you received it.

I have three collector rifles and never received it.

I did not previously have the collector riffle pack and i forgot to mention that i play on xbox.

sorry i guess the xbox fact was pretty obvious since i'm on the 360 technical support page. haha

Got the email on thursday, my pack still hasn't showed up, could it have something to do with the jumbo packs?

I have three collector rifles and never received it.

I received the email yesterday morning.

I do not play the multiplayer, so I am certain that I have never gotten the Collector Rifle for Galaxy at War (or any other multiplayer unlocks for that matter). I also did not purchase any of the peripherals from Razer, so I do not have the Collector Rifle for the Campaign either.

I own the game for the Xbox 360 AND the PC. I would much prefer to receive the pre-order bonus AT12 Raider Shotgun on my PC edition of the game as opposed to getting a code for multiplayer (a game mode I'll never play) on my Xbox 360 copy (which I haven't touched in a few months).

However, as of this post I have not received the promised pack on either platform. Call it a hunch, but with all the other "issues" with the game right now....I don't think I ever will.

I am in same boat here with the email and not getting the bonus. I have the xbox360 collectors edition of ME3.

I am not sure if the reason I have not received it is due to my gamer tag being associated to a different account than the one I pre-ordered the game from or not. I tried to get EA to move my gamer tag over and cancel the account so I only have one instead of two accounts but they wont do this so I am waiting to see if there is some sort of code that will be sent or not.

I contacted customer service but noone knew what I was talking about and kept referring me to bioware and xbox live support before hanging up on me with "nothing we can do" response.

I don't play the multi player mode anyway, I don't have xbox live gold and is waste of money to me since I don't play multi player games.

I am not really that bothered by these addon weapons, the argus rifle in myop is not that great. The collector armor in the single player mode also isn't that great in myop, so their collector rifle if I ever see it, which I doubt, I am not holding my breath on.

I probably play the game a bit different than most so...

Anyway I was surprised to get the email, I thought we were suppose to get another weapon but I am satisfied overall with what bonuses came with the CE, especially the extra mission.

I am not holding my breath on anything further on this or the other issues reported. Will be interesting to see the DLC though. Most of the addon's, DLC and updates stopped after about a year on the other two games so will expect same with ME3.

I just got off the phone with customer support and they said that their escalation team was working on this but it usually takes them about ten to fourteen days so I don't think this pack will be available to all of us until Sunday at the earliest, if ever

It frightens me that people don't care that EA/Bioware kindly accepted their money, withheld a item they payed for (honestly why else order from Origin?). Then get lied to, saying it was only for PC from the begining (false adverstisement?). Only to get 4 random items, ones you can get normally and a rifle that is only used in multiplayer and in my opinion not special. Especially since many have used it in ME2. Excuse me for not being thrilled and excited.

At least we got an apology letter. Yay!

Last part of an EA game advisor transcript I kept for myself. Took me a few reps to get some truth on the issue. Week or so later, got the same email you guys got.

My understanding after talking to customer support is that the at 12 raider shotgun will at some point be available to consoles but issues arose and it's no longer their top priority to keep the promises they made originally

HA I still haven't seen anything even though I received the same email. They did however promise 15% off my next EA purchase. We'll see if that happens. I don't buy video games often.
