I've been selling everything unneeded to the party camp vendor, thinking that I'd be able to find something in the future if I needed it back.

BUT, after quite a lot of play, he suddenly had no stock! Of anything! All the stock pages were completely blank, although the interface was working fine and still showed my inventory and navigated ok.

Other vendors were working with no difference, but Bodahhn's stock has never returned. Since then he's started showing items I've sold him after this wipeout, so he's still operating ok, kinda.

So, just reporting that selling an enormous amount of items to the same vendor might break him. (And I do mean a LOT of items, I was a long long way into things and much scrolling was needed)

Bioware, can you confirm? (UK 360 version)

I just ran into this today myself. Bodhan was working fine late in the game(Landsmeet stuff), then I went to the desterted blood mage building in Denerim, came back to the party camp. I initiated conversation with him through the option on Sandal, and boom! Inventory gone. He sells nothing now.

Unlike you, even the new stuff I'm selling him is not showing up.

That is strange. The Prima guide says to sell all loot to party camp merchant incase you need to buy it back at a later date. What is not strange is yet another bug in the console version of the game.

Vendors aren't storage and never had a Prima guide that was accurate.

Use party camp storage from DLC or Mods to store items. Otherwise, you take the risk of losing items as most, if not all, vendors refresh their stock.

Not having any stock at all is a separate issue.

I would NOT attempt to use any form of storage in this game. Many of us are experiencing save game corruption due to merchants being overloaded with items. You're lucky it whiped his inventory and didn't corrupt your game. The forum (at least as of the time of this posting) is on the same page as this one, go read it. If you think you might want it later, don't sell it or store it at the party chest. Don't overload that either though as it carries the same bug.
