Pretty sure we'll hear about that Omega DLC and multiplayer DLC. I doubt they'll discuss the ending, but hopefully Im wrongHITMAN629 wrote...
Well put OP, Bioware has been pretty hushhush as of late, I wonder what (if anything) April holds.

Although I don't buy into the ending speculation and denial that goes on here, I will note two things:CELL55 wrote...
Yeah, Shepard totally survived an exploding pipe, the Citadel exploding, the vacuum of space, atmospheric re-entry, and crash landing on earth. That totally seems plausible. Because they were totally fine the LAST time they went through atmospheric re-entry at the beginnig of ME2. And with the Citadel exploding above earth, and the Citadel being REALLY big, it's likely to cause a bit of a problem when pieces of it fall down to earth directly on top of Shepard.
The Earth rotates. Debris is going to take its precious time getting to the surface, assuming it doesn't just take up orbit.
Getting to the Citadel, you didn't exit the atmosphere, fly through the vacuum of space, zip into a hatch at the heart of the Citadel, and land on the ground unharmed. Why do you automatically assume that you would return to the surface that way?

They'll have to address the ending discussion. Imagine the uproar if they don't. If we hear something definite about fixing the endings is another matter.

Not sure about your Shepard, but my Shepard, after being destroyed by the collectors the first time and learning from past experience, had his armor ceramic coated so he could survive re-entry, along with automatically deploying parachutes, lol.devSin wrote...

Lame. Mine learnt to teleport! AND he taught all his followers, which explains their presence on the Normandy for the crash landing.

It was so funny, because pretty much the entire game I had no idea what that even was. I had the hint guide and knew about the 4000/5000 EMS requirement. As I was playing the game I kept wondering when the heck my Galactic Readiness was going to go up. There I was, ready to attack the Cerberus Headquarters, and still at 50%. After finally figuring out that I needed multiplayer to make it go up, after a long and healthy facepalm, I reluctantly played a couple hours of multi to get to 60%, which brought me just over 4000 EMS. Then another facepalm after I figured out that my Galactic Readiness would drop every day I didnt play multiplayer. Not only did I have to suffer through it once, but yet again for a second playthrough. Only reason for the second playthrough is because the evil hint guide claimed a secret ending for new game plus. It failed to mention that importing an ME2 character gave the same "secret" ending that I already saw. Figured that one out just after being hit with Harbinger's beam. Needless to say, I let Marauder Shield "save" me.PedEgg wrote...
I remember watching an interview with someone from the Mass Effect team and they said you wouldn't be "punished" for not wanting to play a certain way. Not being able to get above 50% readiness or enough EMS without playing multiplayer is exactly that. It punished us for not playing multiplayer.
At least I think it was an interview. I will have to try to find it..

Think my Shepard can get Goku's email address so he can learn it too? Ahhh, a better idea... why not just call Goku up to Kamehameha all the Repear's back to dark space? I would totally pay for that ending DLC, as it makes more sense than current ending.Chk-2000 wrote...

See, I wouldnt mind if it wasnt non-essential for single player experience. It would be cool if additional weapons for single player could be unlocked by multiplayer. Something that isnt essential at all, but would still be really cool to have in single player. That would actually make me want to play multiplayer.WeAreLegionWTF wrote...
Personally i don't mind how Multiplayer was implemented, its fun and its cool to see a game try to cross borders like that. I dont know why people bash the idea so much I personally was hoping for some form of mp since me2 was first released. Now Hoooow you unlock stuff is what pisses me off and speaks directly to what the OP accuses Bioware of. Other than that OP put together a very well spoken letter- well done!

I have a very good ending DLC conspiracy theory, that explains why the silence regarding the ending and the descrepencies between what we were told the ending would be and what we actually got. However unlikely it might be, it isnt impossible for it to be true. The more you get to know EA, the more likely it is, lol.bryceax wrote...
How the multiplayer ties into single player likely was arranged in a way to get us to spend more money (they are a business after all), but there isn't some sort of ending DLC conspiracy, OP: they simply made a bad ending. I hope BioWare sees that clarification isn't enough to fix it though; a change is needed and I'll gladly pay for it.

But that wouldn't be exactly hard. I have a difficult time imagining an ending that makes less sense then the current one.

All I'm saying is a DLC for a mission to some special super secret Prothean ruin where the Protheans were develope the technology to unindoctrinate or delete repear code from Reaper forces would be epic. As your talking to the Prothean VI there that is describing the tech, a Marauder appears and in the struggle, Shepard throws the Marauder into the prototype machine, The machine automatically activates, and when it done, out comes out a fully sentient and de-repearized playable character....Marauder Shields.Chk-2000 wrote...
