Just came here to say, yes, to the OP. That is exactly how I feel.
Same here. Personally, I really don't play that many games anymore at this point, let alone replay them. Over the past ten years the Mass Effect games were about the only ones I actually bothered replaying multiple times, so that says something about how good I thought these games were. I even bought the collector's edition to ME3, just because I had faith in Bioware that the game would be worth it. Yet even disregarding the (terrible) endings, there's plenty of signs that the game was rushed. It's still a great game, at times absolutely amzing, but you get a feeling that the entire experience is only barely holding together as the game progresses. And then when we finally reach the ending, it all falls apart. I've never been this disapopinted with a video game before, and that's solely because there was just so much potential there. The more than questionable business decisions make matters even worse, and the only reason there aren't more complaints about those is because the ending is the main cause of concern for the fans. I'm just hoping there will be good news shortly.
I totally agree with every statement. There's a lot of signs that the game was rushed (horrendous journal, god-awful side quests, Tali's photo, bugs), but it is the ending where it all falls apart.
The whole Earth mission was a grat disappointment - it felt like some random mission where you beat another waves of enemies. Certianly not like the grand finale should look like.
Think about it, even in ME battles were more 'epic''; Feros for exanple - the battle is divided between vehicle/regular fight, we're breaking through barricades, we have air support, we disarm bomb, then protect the colony.
