Holding the Line. At the same time, I think and hope that Bioware are looking at solutions, let them take their time...we know what happens when they rush things!!!

If they don't ever to anything at all about it, then my wallet and I simply vote with our feet.

No, no and ... no.

The ending was the biggest load of horse crap ever seen in a pc game (imho of course).

I will never accept it as it is, and if it remains, I will not buy anything from the ME universe and probably not from EA or BW again.

Everytime I reach acceptance bioware, without fail, does something stupid, and it brings me right back into anger.

This isnt the ending so we can never accept it. Simple.

Acceptance is what they want. If everyone 'gets over it' then there's no one holding them to account for the appauling job they did. It's not our place to swallow whatever c**p they feed us. We have to draw the line somewhere and hold it.

Still waiting for April 6th and if BW is able to make the not-so-brilliant ending into something I'll finally fully understand. Up to now, too much speculation for my liking, although it's fun to invent and destroy theories about what could have happened and what couldn't. Have to give BW credits where it's due: Never thought about or looked into an ending of a game like that.

So, not so much depressed as really eager to get more information. Depression might start after April 6th. Which is my birthday, so @BW: Don't ruin it! :P

If Bioware isn't fixing it or not fixing it the way people want it to be fixed then eventually everyone will have to accept that this fight can't be won and they will accept the fact. I will never accept ME3 as it is though. I am still considering to give it back if Bioware isn't making clear what exactly they are going to do about it soon. I mean I can always buy it later, but if I want my money back I should probably do it now. So basically I already feel stupid that I did not get my money back yet. I don't think Bioware even have a choice unless they speculate that people are too lazy to bother to get their money back. Prices will drop, that's for sure.

Writing my thesis, waiting to see if Bioware delivers what it advertised. I am one of the fans who played from ME1 and I even bought a hoodie. The hoodie by contrast to the ending is extremely good quality.

I am however still trying to find my space hamster...got all the damned fish but can't find the hamster....

Fancy a beer when this ends OP?
I'm with ya. This ends badly? I'm walking.
Mark it down to a learning experience and leave it at that. Probably won't buy Bioware if it turns out poorly.

The fact that I'm on this forum 20/24 means that I'm still upset I guess...

I am at hold the line stage, currently feeling pretty good about it.

Same here, I really like the way the whole "hold the line" thing seems to succeed.
And actually it fits very well, that people who like Shepard are also fighting against the odds ;-).

I've accepted that they won't change the ending, but instead will "expand" on it. In other words, make it even worse by pretending we're too stupid to understand what its about. Cheers, now it's nonsense, depressing and insulting.

I've also accepted that 75% of the people will just buy the next Bioware game regardless of their current hate. Which will also suck, because the Bioware we knew is gone. The then following title will do poorly because people have finely cought on. After which EA will desolve the brandname completely. Im giving em 5 years, tops.

One could argue that would be acceptance. You accepted it, and this caused you to burn your collection. Just a thought.

If something is objectively bad, the time does not make it better. Actually the more time passes the more I understand how really, really poor and stupid the ending was. It's not a question of preference, the ending is just bad, period. Gaming press mocking disappointed customers do not make it better either.

If I accept the ending then I must also accept that BioWare have well and truly lost their ability to write good game endings. That said, DA3 will most likely also be a major disappointment even though it's made by a different team.

This ME3 ending debacle also showed me that you cannot trust game reviewers - AT ALL. They'll sell you a bunch of lies just as happily as BioWare will. So if the current ending stays, how can I ever buy a BioWare game again and seriously expect it to be good?

Still upset but starting not to care. I'm sad to see my once favorite developer consumed by corporate shortsightedness.
