Less frustrated, but still no incentive to play any ME title due to its futility

I was never upset, angry, or grieved....just extremely disappointed. No, I do not accept the ending as it is now. Just hanging in there for PAX to see what develops from there.

As far as DA3 goes...I'll certianly wait for a bit before rushing out to buy that particular title.

Yesterday I thought to myself and realised,
When they realised people didn't like the Mako, they made a DLC involving lots of "Hammerhead" to correct the problems and put it to bed. I'm sure that far fewer people complained about the Mako, (though most of us didn't like it) and they felt they needed to correct it for the sake of the fans, AND for themselves. With this amount of uproar for the endings, Of course they're going to do something to try and correct it into something good

all these theories and all these speculation...did it even make a dent?

I want some solid proof or something that shows me Bioware is already working on fixing the endings, a screenshot or a video or a script...right now all we got is empty promises...

It might turn out to be that "The cake is a lie"

PAX is my last hope, I will "care" about ME3 endings till then, if they dont do anything, I'll move on, not buy any more games from Bioware and thats that

Ultimately its just a game, so what if you spend 100+hours playing it, if you dont get over it, you will lose many more!

Dont be stuck in a well!!!!

I still hate the ending as it stands - but after seeing the 'breath' scene I feel a little better, 'cause it makes me hope my Shep is still alive.

Upset? Heck No. 'Im still "speculating" . . .

(Not sure I'm doing it right though, because the endings still suck.)

I don't accept the endings the way they are, they feel like being kicked in the balls. Why this could have worked for a second instalment of a trilogy (eg : Star Wars and the Vader reveal), it's untolerable for a third episode.

I have a feeling that BioWare has something more in store. But if what they offer is just grease to make this ending thing run more smoothly, it won't change anything for me.

I'm not upset just still don't understand the ending I'll still start a second playthrough on Insanity I'll have to press the mute button once I reach hologram kid can't really go through all that it said then make myself a sandwich once I choose a color.

Don't get me wrong I'm deeply into the game because I still loved seeing most of the characters returning from ME1 through ME2 and won't be trading it for quite a while. :)

Im not really upset. Never have been. I actually kind of liked how the ending played out from a cinematic stand point.

yeah the ending kind of sucks, but Im in the "wait and see phase" where I dont really do any grieving or brooding and I just kind of wait until they announce what they are going to do later on.

only at that point will I either celebrate or go "man. that sucks. Oh well. I still love mass effect."

The endings are still atrocious nonsense that I can't believe made it into this game.

Holding the line!

... though wounded and running out of ammo.

I've lost all enthusiasm towards the franchise and its creator. I will wait to see what they're up to, but I never asked for this crap. All this argueing and "speculation" has drained the game of all fun and entertainment because it's unfulfilling and it serves no purpose. Worst decision ever. Speculation. Feh. <_<

since 1st playthrough, I have not, and will not ever play any Mass Effect game until the ending is fixed. Fanfiction is ok, they seem to mostly declare the ending non-cannon

Yeah, Pax is the end of the line for me I think. I am still pissed off so if they don't make a really good ending for us, then I'm off. I wont care two ****s about ME 3 any more or later products of the same writers.

I'll never accept the endings.

If they don't implement new endings, then ME3 ended with Shepard and Anderson on the Citadel and destroyed the Reapers for good. Spacekid never happened, rainbow explosions never happened, and my crew magically ending up on a random planet never happened. My Shepard now lives with Ashley.

Nope, no acceptance here. I played ME2 8 times within a few weeks after getting it, haven't touched ME3 SP since my first playthrough, no motivation to do so at all.

I do MP though...

This.

And LOTSB when players wanted more interaction with Liara Bioware came out with DLC. Have trust that Bioware will give us closure soon during Pax.

They didn't promise change, they promised "clarification". Unless they have a coming to Jesus moment we're still likely stuck with reaper boy, death by skittles, and galactic dark age. : (

In good news may 15th and the loot piñata is around the corner if bioware fumbles on the 1 yard line again.

I could reach the 'acceptance' part of grief on this ending.

I accept the fact that BioWare failed to meet the demands of its playerbase.

I accept the fact that BioWare willingly chose the stubbornness of their producer and writers over their fans, in spite of precedent on how poorly that is received. (I.E. George Lucas).
I accept that BioWare chose to overlook the fact that even in the world of art, endings are often changed to cater to their audience, and that there are examples of this in modern media such as movies. (They call endings like what we're being forced to go through "Director's Editions" or "Alternate Endings.")

But most importantly:
I accept the fact that BioWare is now officially damaged goods to many players, including myself, and that I will be far less likely to support them financially in the future.

Is this the level of acceptance you want? - Because this is where I'm at.

No, I will never accept the ending as is. If nothing is done, and done right, I will never buy an Bioware/EA game again even. Posted Image

My acceptance happened 2 days after I beat it. At no point was I outraged by the endings. Quite honestly I'm excited for new DLC but am not a "retake" person. I'll enjoy as much content as we can get! Otherwise I don't have a problem with the ending as I like the questions and the conversations it spurned with me and my friends. I think a bunch of Disney kids just got their panties in a bunch and the faster they accept the better because BW won't change the ending sequence so there's a "everything worked out perfectly!" option...

I get that it was a tough ending to deal with - it was hard for me to process as well. I just don't think it deserves all the fist pounding and crying I see all over the boards from people acting like 12 year olds. Constructive criticism is totally cool and the Indoctrination Theory stuff is what devs were hoping we would do - think about the ending. But I can't believe how many self-righteous whiners are on these boards who think they deserve things. Grow up people. Formulate sentences instead of relying on poorly worded memes to express yourself...
