No longer angry, no longer in denial and thinking "Bioware wouldn't make anything THAT bad", no longer expecting them to own up to and fix their mistake... Frankly I'm just disappointed and wryly amused at their incompetance.

I'm not at acceptance level. I'm at apathy. As more time passes and the only word Bioware has to share is 'clarifying', my interest in a DLC and this series is evaporating.

Right now im just sad.... Actually we'll have to accept the endings. One of my favorite game series ended pretty dissapointing for me.
What do you expect from pax? Do you think thel'll come out and say: Ok here is your real ending.
Nope. Wont happen. They will ad closure to an ending that doesnt make any sense.
Thats it!
Actually my ME3 ends with Anderson saying "You did good son" The End
I think Bioware did enough.............

I accept that the endings are a badly written, incoherent, mess who insult every one who has invested so much in this series of games.

I'm quickly becoming disassociated and disenfranchised with the entire series. I really am about to the point where I don't even care about Mass Effect anyone. If there's no announcement of something to make the ending not terrible by PAX I'll probably just shrug it all away.

Having the terrible ending makes me not want to play ME3, I don't care about the story or characters because the ending tells me there's no point. Thus I have no desire to play it or see what happens. I can't be bothered to bring another Shepard through the game.

At first I was very >=\\ about the way they handled such a vibrant cast of characters at the end... now I have to struggle to remind myself I like the characters.

Good job bioware.

I'm not at the Acceptance Level of Mass Effect Grief. I'm at the "I'm going to play something else" Level.

I'm upset how the game ended, and even though I've been offered a free SWTOR trial, I just don't feel like playing anything from Bioware for a while.

Luckily, there's a few decent sales that have popped up in the last few days to help with my pain.

I think that puts me in Phase #3, Bargaining, but I'm not bargaining FOR a better ending as much as buying ANYTHING ELSE to ignore the pain. Maybe I slipped back into Denial, which is Phase #1. Eh, I don't honestly know at this point.

I get that it was a tough ending to deal with - it was hard for me to process as well. I just don't think it deserves all the fist pounding and crying I see all over the boards from people acting like 12 year olds. Constructive criticism is totally cool and the Indoctrination Theory stuff is what devs were hoping we would do - think about the ending. But I can't believe how many self-righteous whiners are on these boards who think they deserve things. Grow up people. Formulate sentences instead of relying on poorly worded memes to express yourself...

There are more level headed people on this forum than not, so please don't generalize everybody. Criticism and having complaints about aspects of the ending is not just thrown away as whining. So please be a little more fair.

I will never accept the flaming heap of wreckage and screeching metal that BioWare thinks is an ending. I guess what BioWare calls an ending, I call a steaming pile of ****.

I didn't get angry so much as really depressed, down and "what's the point of a replay?" about it all.

The depression has faded a ton now. I've accepted what's happened.

But I haven't been able to bring myself to start ME3 again. I never, ever expected to not want to replay ME3 (I did ME1 + 2 multiple times after all) and was looking forward to doing so all the way up to almost being finished, but thanks to the ending that's somehow exactly where I ended up.  Multiplayer is keeping me well entertained, but I haven't even touched the singleplayer apart from to see the effect on War Readiness being 100% and what you got for New Game +.

So understanding, but still upset and hoping like hell to get some good news out of PAX.

I prefer to play ME3 very very slowly, savoring every moment until DLC comes out.

That's why I distinguish between constructive criticism and the people who whine and post starchild memes...unfortunately anything constructive I see usually deteriorates from the trolling that I point to in my original post. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. But the trolling has gotten OD over this ending.

I'm surprised people have stuck with them for this long. I know that Bioware are going to shed some light on the situation at PAX, but keeping tight-lipped until then has surprised me. If they had an explanation for that ending, that would be enough for me, but they seem to be avoiding answering every question thrown at them.

I love Mass Effect. One of the best franchises ever made, until EA saw an opportunity to take advantage of the fan's love of the series and thought of every possible way to take their money. No matter what they discuss at PAX, I will only buy future products if they fulfil on their promises and don't short change us. That goes for every game I buy. Mass Effect is no different.

I'm not angry at them. Yes, I'm disappointed, but they just need to deliver.

To be honest, everytime someone starts debating a new game with me and how excited they are to play it, I have to hold back saying "Don't get excited because it might stab you so badly in the back afterwards."

I've accepted what happened, but it will still color my game decisions for a long while. If they fix it in an acceptable way, I'll give them a second chance. If not... well, I'll just not buy more games from them.

But until then, April will be interesting.

I'm at the "I'll wait until PAX" stage. Replaying through 1 and 2 right now in hopes of there being an announcement for an ending fix by then.

I haven't accepted it yet but iv definatly cooled down. What gets me is the fact that every time i play any mass effect game now, i know what it all leads up to and how pointless it all is, the desicions i mean:(

I haven't accepted it. I finally started my second playthrough of ME3 last night mostly for achievements on insanity but the non-combat bits just feel so pointless now with that ending. The actual combat is fine and enjoyable, but anything story related I just can't bring myself to play. I got as far as the Citadel and just turned it off and haven't been able to bring myself to play anymore.

Exactly. And that's how bioware really screwed up, and may not realize it while they circle the wagons. Their games cater to players who want choices to matter and are invested in the characters. The current ending makes all your choices over 3 games and 100+ hours meaningless. As a side bonus it kicks you in the junk with lots of speculation on what happens to the characters you invested in.

If they trash the choices and character investment then I'm really just playing GoW with mediocre combat.
