Augh, why do things always have to go this way?

One of the things I was in love with better archery for were the slotted bows for runes - have any other mods added that feature?

Still, at least the version on rapidshare is newer than the one I was using ... there is hope for awhile

Strange that the Oh reduced the longbow's armor penetration vs. the shortbow, since the appearence of the longbow was one of the mainreasons behind heavy armor's demise. The same force that gives longbows their incredible range and requires high strength contributes to high penetration. If it's because of balance, the shortbow is already tailored to DEX characters anyway.

If the mod doesn't get affected by DAO updating why does it matter if BA gets updated or not? As far as I can tell it works just fine - if you like that sort of thing - and doesn't really need any more changes or updates. It'd be cool if it was improved upon. But updating ins't needed.

If you like being an archer and think DAO doesn't do archery well, then I strongly suggest BA if you can get it. I like it a lot. It also makes enemy archers something to worry about too.
