7 bucks for a new quest seems expensive, but loving this game I am intrigued. Is it worth the 7 dollars?
Also, as a genreal question, how will they keep releasing little expansions for this game. Unless you are in the middle of start a new game, seems kind of pointless, doesn't it?\\
Thanks for the opinions.
Wardens keep worth it?

if you have short of cash don't buy it. wait for it to come in a cheaper deal because it's very short and you get much better entertainment from picking up a older game from a bargain bin for that cash. I would only recommend it for people with good enough cash flow and that really love DA:O and don't mind that they got only a little for the money.(1 hour entertainment if you read dialogues) It's not bad but It's not much content for the money. the armour isn't better then any of the other sets so unless you go full warrior party you might not even use it. and the boss fights are not that special. they where very easy but i bought this and played it through with a high level character (lv 20-21).on hard. and compare to other boss fights in the game that really got you in trouble.

yes, the weapons, armour and dungeon. I always go there first after loathering to get commander armour, starfang sword maker, and crossbow and the stash chest. If your a blood mage you get robes too. Its a must, but should have been in the intial game.

If you don't have anything better to do with your 7 bucks then buy it.
It's short but you already know that. If you plan on replaying the game it's a fair deal. The backstory is nice, the dialogues are good too and the fights are fun. Moreover the bonus items are quite nice to have in the game.
What can you get for 7 bucks? Over here it's the price of a pack of cigarettes.

I liked it, but as Kalcalan said, buy it if you have nothing better to do with those 7 bucks...
I had some money left in a paysafe card and snached it, but I'm not sure I'd get a new one only for a single addon... Time will tell when return to ostagar comes, though

The Diabolist magical research has come in pretty handy during the game, too.

Just got it yesterday. Not too bad, short but sweet.
7 bucks is ok...the price of a lunch.

I thought it was worth it. Added to the story and fun.
Of course, I'm also one of those who intends to get all the DLC that comes out anyway...

Well, I got my copy of DA:O for a sale price of $10 off the usual $49.99 so I consider getting it part of the game price, or I will once I find out if they sell Bioware point cards, or convince someone I know to lend me their Paylpal account and give them cash... not that anyone would.

It also gives you access to a huge storage chest to put stuff you don't want to carry around but want to hang on to, plus a smith to make a nice sword out of the "superman" metal you can find.
The Warden armor you get there looks pretty sweet though.

$7 for 1 hour of playing time - NO WAY IN H#LL!
I won't be buying ANY of the DLC unless there is at least 1 hour of play time per dollar spent!
There is a mod (from a Bioware guy) that adds a chest to the camp, so I don't need to pay $7 for storage

Just finished it. I thought the area was high quality in terms of design and backstory- but the actual "playtime" content was really short. I can see breezing though it in 10 min on the second time through... there just isn't that much meat there.
In gameplay terms, it will save you some gold for items mid game [good staff, nice set of massive armor (like the design better than the other armors in game)], and the party chest would be useful for those not playing on a PC (where you can just change the inventory size to 120, or 500 if you want).
Still, all said I hope future DLC is a bit meatier. I'd pay more for it too.

For me I suppose the expenditure was justified...I used to store a lot but not much anymore...I pretty well know what my team needs and what they dont need I sell as soon as possible. The one thing I am thrilled about is Starfang! Having the Meteor metal ore turned into this kickbutt sword was definately a Big Plus.

Of course its worth it
1st of all theres new items , GOOD items at that
Theres a chest in the keep you can store valuable items you don't want to sell but do want to keep , such as gifts or rare weapons and/or armor
You can also use that chest to scale up armor sets to match your lvl
With wardens keep you get access to the best sword in the game : Starfang
1 hour of play? Bull**** because you can play it on every save you ever make and use the equipment and the storage chest forever
Also the smithy in the keep sells every non unique armor and weapon imaginiable , the other guy has some grandmaster runes in his inventory
Then considering $7 is nothing unless you are unemployed or only have a part time minimum wage crap job and can't just mooch off your parents either it makes it obviously worth it
So is the best sword in the game , a great set of armor , a great blood mage robe , extra XP , a storage chest you can scale items up with to make easy profit and all of that worth the very worthLESS quanity of 7 dollars? YES , of course it is.

Don't forget if you are willing to reload and kill until you get sick of it you can also get a +1 sta regen shield very early in your game which is extremely nice for sword and board warriors. Warden Tower Shield. 50+ kills to get it once no joke and no fun whatsoever.

Considering that the quest is all of an hour long at the most, and you can't revisit the inside of the castle after you've cleared it out, its a bit of a waste. While the armor and sword is nice, that's about it. Never found the abilities you get all that useful as well, especially for tank protoganists.
Would have been different if the keep served more as a base of operations that you could build on, but alas....

While it doesn't have a lot of gameplay, I would say the story is pretty good (better than I expected compared to most DLC) .
Surprisingly worthwhile in that respect. To me at least.

Really? So I don't have to have my warden commander armor be tier 4 the whole game? This interests me lol.
