Probably be lolz'd at but
Fallout: New Vegas (Dead Money DLC), all the endings are applicably good and bittersweet.

Red Dead Redemption. I use that example a lot when comparing "bittersweet" and "godawful".
Did anyone actually dislike the ending to RDR? I really wonder if that's possible.

I'm gonna be honest, if RDR was a movie it would have been oscar freaking gold, that said as a video game I hated having to play as another characterjzzabelle wrote...

Halo: Reach
Pretty much any Warhammer 40k game ever
Dragon Age: Origins (potentially)
Dragon Age 2 (yes, I liked it)

Red Dead Redemption...best game ending everJohn Marston is one of my favorite characters in fiction.
Liked the ending, but hated the fact that I had to continue on as his son. So I just kept replaying the game.

I did. Becaue Jack and Abigail annoy the heck outta me, and I hate playing as Jack after the end. But the deal with John, I actually liked and thought it was well done.
If we couldn't play as John at the end, why not give us some random character skins instead?

I'm a sucker for happy endings but FFX's ending is one of my all time favorites. It's an example of an extremely well executed bittersweet ending.

Halo 3 did it the best and were even able to leave questions in the air without leaving everything else in the story a mess. RDR was great too.

K-Pax, not the best movie, but what an ending, and lots of speculation (without the strange narrative shift in the end).
