Is there a way to remove uploaded character? I uploaded a character that I later decided I didn't like the look of. I deleted the character in the character creator, but he is still on my player profile page. Is there a way to get rid of him?

You can make a new character of the same name. Then the portrait might be updated to the new look.



Not sure if you can simply delete an uploaded portrait, though.

You can delete characters from the CC itself... I have no idea if that is reflected on the website though.

It isn't reflected on the website. Only thing you can do is what Mystranna suggested and make a new character with the same name. My first character was completely different than my second one, but I used the same name so it replaced my first character with my second character.

I wish there were a delete feature, because I accidentally uploaded my male human noble with the wrong name. Now I have two of him uploaded.

I think if you modify your character and the upload it again it will update the one on the website. It appears to be the case with one character of mine (only made subtle changes so can't say for certain).

If you cannot I'm positive it will be resolved eventually. It is a rather important feature of the website.

well, for some reason my portrait isn't uploading to the website, even though i clicked on the button repeatedly. instead I have to make do with this stock photo. how long doe sit take the"upload info" button to actually WORK?

If you update the look of a character it is reflected here on the site. As for deleting... I would have to say make someone else with the same name.

Be nice if they fixed this.. For some reason, my first character uploaded with no picture, so I renamed him and it showed up. Now I wish I could delete the character who's picture didn't upload for whatever reason. I am going to try what Mystranna suggested though since I want Danzalthar to be my mage and Kielithos to be either a warrior or a rogue.

Weirdly enough the look of my character was updated after I made some adjustments, but her portrait picture won't update. So basically the picture that shows the whole body looks like it should, but the portrait of just the face still has the old hairstyle.

[Edit: I take that back. Apparently it just took more time to update the portrait. Now it looks the way it should.]

I hope they allow us to remove uploaded characters as well. I have a few that I made for giggles and I'd like to take them down altogether. Simply renaming won't work because I didn't give them custom names and I really don't want to play any characters with the default names.

It was posted on another thread that BioWare are planning on adding a tool so that we can manage our characters, but it won't be for a couple of weeks yet.

You can delete your characters now. Just look to the top left for a button that says Manage Characters.
