Mordin's death hit kinda hard. I expected Thane to die, but I never suspected Mordin would sacrifice himself like that. It was pretty awesome.

There were a lot, but the one that hit me the hardest was Garrus' goodbye conversation (from a romanced FemShep POV). I knew it was coming. I started bawling when I walked in the room and heard his voice...

Same, actually.

That was a hard scene to watch...

Oddly enough... It was the final conversation with Garrus. Particularly his line about waiting at the bar in Heaven, and he'd buy the first round. That, right there, was the moment where I even faintly considered the possibility that not all of us would come out alive.

Although, a lot of that emotion was because I had also just spoken with Kaidan, my LI, and that was heart wrenching.

No. The most emotional part was AFTER I beat the game looking back on both Kaidan and Garrus' goodbyes. Because I realized just how painfully true their doubts were. It made everything that much more depressing.
And now I feel awful again.

Kasumi needs to stop cloaking while chopping onions behind me. It's really not doing my tear ducts any good.

Agreed, although when Kaidan say's "I can't lose you again!" totally made up for Horizon.
I caught my son in the car crying like 3 days after beating the game...when I asked why he told me "Legion is dead mom! Why didn't you save him?" tears and all.
He's 5...<3
THAT made me more sad than the initial scene.

The tears.... T_T I still cry at that part...

It had to be Tali jumping off the cliff. It happened to me on my first playthrough, and I hadn't read any spoilers or anything so it was a total surprise. I figured letting Legion upload the upgrades was the right thing to do, that it would all work out fine, but I'd skipped the Geth fighter server mission so I wasn't able to warn off the fleet.

The most emotional scene in the game for me was the fist time I got to cradle that amazing gun that creates a mini black hole and can kill anything with a single shot....no I take it back.. it was when I got to fire that puppy for the first time... the ensuing devastation brought a tear to my eye. How can I describe that wondrous feeling?.......no...there are no words...but it was glorious.

My top 3

1-) Mordin Curing the Genophage (Damn powerful )
2-) Thane's last moments and his prayer for Shepard
3-) Liara's time capsule and how she wanted to immortalize you.

1. Mordin's death
2. Thane's prayer to my Shepard
3. Garrus's good-bye (romance)
4. Thinking Grunt died
5. The end

I sobbed like a baby with all five instances. I am not ashamed to say it.

Sobbed. Like. A. Baby.

Nah, theres certain variables that can disqualify you from being able to create peace between the two regardless of your paragonrenegade scrore, rewriting the heretics is one of em.

I rewrote the heretics on my Paragon..... still saved both. The only effect rewriting the heretics has is that you have a larger army facing the quarians because all the heretics went back to the Reapers.... again....

At least, that's what I got out of it.

Rannoch. So fulfilling. Until I found out it was pointless.

Yeah, that was what every Tali fan wanted and then they ruin it with the ending...

I honestly cannot say what was the *MOST* emotional by sheer virtue of a lot of those moments being so awesome (up until the last 5 minutes) so, listing a few (in no particular order).

1) Curing the genophage, saying bye to Mordin
2) Geth/Quarian peace and Legion's sacrifice
3) Grunt charging the Rachni (and surviving)
4) Garrus' first ME3 appearance
5) Leaving Anderson behind on Earth
6) Anderson's last words

Minus the kid, watching that shuttle blow up was pretty sadface for me too.

Of the first ME, I really loved the scene where the human fleet comes charging to save the day. The combination of music, voice acting, cut scene and setting made that a pretty unforgettable moment.

No, have to call you out on this one :) I rewrote the heretics in ME2 and I got the perfect ending for uniting the Quarian and the Geth.

For me it was the last romance scene before attacking the Cerberus base. You just see so much fear and vulnerability from Shepard for the first time. When he says to Tali "Will you stay here with me?" D'awwww!

So many amazing moments have been mentioned!

Some of mine:

1) Visiting Kaidan in the hospital the first time. (My MaleShep considered Kaidan like a brother). The line, "Keep fighting.......and that's an order," left me stunned and staring at my TV.
2) Mordin's sacrifice. Enough said.
3) Thane's prayer to Shepard. He was one of my favorite characters.
4) Every moment of the Liara romance.

And this WOULD have been one of them if it had been in the game for all Shepards. I cry every time I listen to it:

Legion sacrificing himself hit the hardest for me. Overall there were a lot of feel-good highlights in the game during my Paragon run.

Mordin was a surprise, but he went out like a true bad-ass. Was more happy for Wrex, Eve and the krogan than sad for our scientist Salarian friend.

Thane was terminal already, so his death had no impact on me. It sucked that he was killed my such a generic anime ninja though.

First playthrough: Mordin.... Liara's writing my name in the stars and her gift at the end (friend). Also me apologizing to joker for getting all mad at him after Thessia.

Second playthrough: Paragon interrupt on Samara. When she was going on about her code, I was thinking omg she's going to kill her daugher and then she puts the gun to her head, was like wtffff...what are you doin...?? mashed the interrupt when i saw it pop.

Garrus' goodbye (friend)

Legion's death got me. I absolutely love Legion from ME2. He's got great banter with EDI as well as Tali.

Mordin caused me to bawl alot as well but none were as powerful for me as was Legion's death. Just his act of being self-aware and knowingly giving himself up for his kind completely, though the rest of the Geth might not truly understand until a time later how much of a sacrifice it really was. To them it might have been a number but to Shepard and to the individual platform called Legion, it was a person.

Mordin: "I MADE A MISTAKE!!!"... wow, was so powerful...

Was playing full renegade but made an exception to save Mordin. (Got a feeling I will cry like a baby on my Paragon playthrough).

Thane's death hit me hard. Mordin + Thane was my ME2 team all the way. My hatred of Kai-Leng was all consuming! Killing him was one of the most satisfying moments in gaming history!

"THAT WAS FOR THANE YOU SON OF A B****!!!" Had manly tears of anger/sadness/revenge.

Cried during Grunt's final stand... hated leaving him.

Legion... whyyyyyyyy!!!??

The time-capsule was awesome and moving... (really need to do a Paragon playthrough though. I'm not cut out for Renegade...)

Not enough time with Miranda made me angry/sad. Saying goodbye was tough.

Garrus...

Everything including Liara, especially the scene after Thessia. Also, Mordin's death made me cry. :(

Also when Shepard had to sacrifice herself after promising Liara that she'd be coming back, so now Liara is miserable somewhere.

However, I refuse to believe in the ending, though I did believe the ending before I came to the forums; thinking there was something I missed.

I liked that scene with Liara too. But getting beaten by Kai Leng on Thessia and watching how the planet gets destroyed depsite my best efforts was pretty big for me. I took it personally, and wanted to fix my failure.

Yeah, me too!

Especially when I received the email from Kai Leng, then it was definitely personal! ;)

Shooting Mordin was the most emotional part of the series.
