The ending..

just watching something bad happen and knowing there was nothing i could do about it. Then coming to this place only to be told im a vocal minority, and that requesting something else could hurt the artistic integrity of a product that has already forgone a great deal of artistic integrity in search of a more wide-reaching/profitable product.

Being lied to hurts.. But being lied too, and then lying about the fact that those lies even exist hurts worse.

When you went around and talked with all your friends in London. That was really emotional for me.

Yea, I can't believe I actually felt bad for the kid at one point.

Everytime I replay this game I will just laugh when his shuttle blows to pieces

Liara's box and Legion's sacrifice. Also femshep and Liara's romance dialogues are all extremely well done. Hale and Hillis have great chemistry, they work great together.

Right before the final battle, talking to a romanced Ash. Some of the best writing/VA I've see. Thats why the ending has to be fixed.

Liara's time capsule. Man, that's ... it gets me every time, too. Just wow!

So many emotional moments in ME3.

Romances in general were done really well

Ash, liara and Miranda ( dying kiss)

O and of course Garrus ...one last day atop the citadel with your closest bro

Curing the genophage. That is a prime example of how to do a bittersweet ending right. The cure was spread, the krogan were given a new hope and lease on life, but it came at the cost of Mordin. It was sad, but in a 'Godspeed and farewell' kind of way, as he went out redeeming himself and correcting that one mistake that has been a driving force in his personality for so long. That's a good kind of sad feeling.

Why can't the end of ME3 be like the end of the genophage arc? That story was so well written from the beginning to the end. The ending to ME3...well, enough has been said on that.

Legion and Mordins deaths, and all variations there of, Liara's time capsul, Andersons death, pretty much every bit of romance dialogue with Tali, the friendly shoot out with Garrus on the presidium. Lots of other minor stuff too.

There was loads of emotionally resonant stuff in he game frankly, happy and sad. It was brilliantly good at pulling on he heart strings.

Shame the end only illicited hate from me really.

Second would probably be Liara's black box. My Shepherd was never particularly close with Liara, but around LotSB I started to get more fond of her. She wasn't technically part of my crew, and she had obviously learned to take care of herself, so she made a good confidante. When she brought that box up and showed it to me, I felt like even if we lost everything, it would be alright. We would make progress, and it would be in Liara's black boxes, and the next cycle would have a fighting chance that was even stronger than ours had been. Each cycle building bit by bit... we were doing our part.

But then there was Thessia. I'd kept pretty clear-headed up to that point (though I did mourn both Mordin, Legion, and nearly Grunt), but irrevocably failing the mission and then having to stand by helplessly and listen to the dying screams of the commandos who had done everything they could to get me to that temple... it just brought the weight of everything that was at stake and everything that we were going to lose down on my shoulders.

I had been transcribing key story points to a friend of mine via IM (she won't play the games, but loved watching through ME1 & 2, and doesn't live close enough that she could come over to watch 3). At that point I just typed, "I... we lost. We lost it. We failed." And I just couldn't say anything else.

Romance scene with Ash. I was wondering if they were going to use the 'L' word, glad they did.

2 scenes really, really stuck out to me.

Not really a Liara fan. She never grabbed me. But her mind-meld thing where she placed her head on my shoulder was really touching.

Not really a Garrus fan either. But, talking about heaven with him got these eyes all messed up and wet.

Definitely the entire Sanctuary mission. Miranda had died during my Suicide mission, so this was a personal quest for revenge and closure on my part.

Deeeeply satisfying

Also, it led to Tali getting drunk so +1 for that lol

Miranda didnt even die in my game and Tali still got plastered whining about her like she did.
Glitch?

Anderson's death and Shepard struggling to the console trying desperately to do whatever it is she needs to do before collapsing in a bloody heap. This is especially awful to watch as FemShep because the way Jennifer Hale cries out just kills me.

Everyone's goodbyes at the end also kill me.

I thought the same thing. Someone then pointed out to me that you could interpret it as Tali getting drunk over the whole situation with Miranda's father--Tali had a kind of similar relationship with her dad who died in 2.

I think they were just lazy about the dialogue during the emergency induction port scene, personally, but I can overlook it because of the lulz.
