Wrex's confrontation with you on the Citadel if you sabotaged the cure was the worst when I got to that point on my Renegade Shep.Wrex has some of the most powerful dialogue I've heard and witnessing this after my Paragon Shep destroyed the Genophage in such a blaze of glory really tugs at the emotions. Wrex greets you in Docking Bay D-24 with Claymore in hand as he plays a recording of you and the Dalatrass. He then forces you into cover as you tried to explain yourself.

Wrex: But before you die I want you to know that I'm calling off my support for Earth. If my people go extinct SO WILL YOURS!

Shepard: It doesn't have to be this way Wrex!

Wrex: It should have been this way back on Virmire where I made the mistake of trusting you, believing you were my friend! I was a FOOL!  What's the matter? Ashley not around to do your dirty work? (and if she died on Virmire) Oh right! You killed her too. its time you found out how that feels (which is odd considering you died at the beginning of ME2)

Bailey and a Turian C-Sec agent flank Wrex and pump him full of bullets up against a pane of glass as Shepard approaches with a Carfinex. Wrex is bleeding to death and says, " I know... what... you.. did Shepard!" and you have the option to shoot him through the glass or Bailey will.

Of course Mordin will always be an honorable mention. I am the ve-ry mod-el of... I welled up, no shame.
:crying:

This one, Tali's death, and shooting Mordin I watched on the YouTube videos, and as much as I'd like to play through the games with a more renegade Shep than the one I have... I just... don't think I could make it all the way through knowing I'd have to see these. Won't watch them again on YouTube. Throat got tight just reading through your transcription and remembering the video with Wrex.  And it's worst with that one because on some level, you know you deserve every word he's saying.

Renagade shep kills ashley, wrex, tali, mordin and samara. He can indirectly kill miranda, jack, legion and prevent grunt from ever coming to life. He is a bastard. We bring him out for people like Kai Leng then put him back in his box

Thane's death, Mordin's and Legion's sacrifices and the final moments with Anderson made me cry a little. Ok, a lot.

There were a lot of other great moments: Liara's romance, Liara's project, Eve and Wrex thanking you for curing the genophage, Tali finally setting foot on Rannoch, Garrus on the Citadel and last goodbye to Garrus and Liara.

The most emotional part of the game was the ending though. No game, tv show, movie or book made me feel quite as hollow and depressed.

There are so many scenes in the game that really hit me. I'm in my twenties, and I've played many games, read a lot of books, and seen a lot of movies. ME3 was the most emotional I have ever been with anything. I actually teared up at a few parts. I love the series with all of my heart. The character development was outstanding! I just can't grasp the ending. I feel it wasn't justified.

Legion, and how he sacrificed himself to save the Geth, and accepted the Quarians, despite what they did to his race, as well as how he called himself "I." Brings a tear to my eye.

This scene, too. The ending, especially. Tali audibly crying in shock as scraps of the Migrant Fleet burn up in Rannoch's atmosphere. The false hope of a paragon interrupt was a nice touch.

Mordin singing on the top of that tower and Liara with her legacy box. Very strong moments. Bioware know how to do a game.

Thessia was a pretty emotional moment, especially when followed by the Liara/Javick confrontation. Having that obnoxious cerberus weasel steal the prothean VI while hiding behind a gunship... I was angry enough to exit the game and go work out at the gym.

The game was/is an emotional roller coaster.
My first playthrough when saving the queen, and thinking I lost Grunt because of it - I was prepared to reload and let her die if it would cost me one of my friends to save her.

Some (other) teary moments are:
Mordin's sacrifice
Thane asking for forgiveness for what you've done/will come to do.
Miranda dying

And some fun of course:
Ashley/Tali drunk
All the jokes and references to the previous games

And so, so much more... (99%, everything up until the last ten minutes.)

On Earth when you talked to your squad and friends before the final fights. I teared up while taking to EDI (more because of the accumulation of talking with everyone). It was the first time a video game had made me that emotional.

It was when Liara came with the beacon to my cabin. Also, when Tali jumped off the cliff. Besides, the whole game is emotional.

Okay, how about POSITIVE emotional response?

Kalros taking out the reaper on Tuchanka. I totally cheered and fist pumped IRL.

When Shepard says; "Keelah Se'lai" to Tali, before going to take down the Rannoch's Destroyer. Tali imagining her house is also pretty sweet!

And the epic goodbye in Thuchanka, when Eve and Wrex thanks Sheps for everything. *tears*

The most emotional is after getting back to earth, and talking to all my squad mates as I make my way to anderson.

The whole feeling that some of them weren't going to make it really did a wonderful job of showing how most of them were pretty scared.

Then BW outsourced to M. Night Shyamalan for the end and ruined the magic.

I guess I'm with the majority here, not that this would be surprising. I'll try to remember as much as I can.

1) Mordin's death. The whole Tuchanka mission was the best one in the whole series. By far. And that ending just got me. Kudos to the voice actor, it was amazing how the fear in his voice was rising with every line he sang. And then this beautiful "snow" comes down and the calm music track starts - just wow. I was blown away. And the Krogan being so happy and promising to make it worth it made that sacrifice even better, something beautiful was done with it. Whoever wrote that story arc, please don't leave Bioware.

2) Thane's death. Shows how strong the power of words can be, because the lines of the prayer were what made this so good. Wouldn't have worked that well otherwise. And that the prayers were actually for Shepard was a great little "goodbye twist".

3) The final showdown between the Geth and Quarians, especially how Legion acted until it sacrificed itself. Loved the change of wording from "we" to "I".

3) As much as I hate the ending: The whole scene after arguing with the Illusive Man and before the starchild. That's the only thing I really would miss when that gets changed or turns out to be an illusion.
First the Illusive Man: If you don't let him "saren himself" (that was so cheap) he says the lines "There...earth...I wish you could see it like I do, Shepard. It's so...perfect.". That was wonderful and gave the character so much depth with just a single line. And the Anderson part of course. That would've been a really good ending for both of the characters. Knowing they've done something wonderful and then slowly dying with such a view.

4) Liara's "story for the future" part, as already mentioned here.

5) Flying with Garrus to his "favorite spot on the citadel". It's those little scenes that make games special, as someone of Bioware stated in the "The Final Hours"-app. It's not a specific line here, just the scene by itself. It had a little desperate touch (calm before the storm), and also showed how the characters have grown together.

6) Grunt beating the **** out of the Reaper-Rachni. The fighting scene was very well done because you could really see how he had to put one trick out of his sleeve after another to survive another attack - and when you thought it's over for him he really comes back heavily wounded. Awesome :). That was how a Krogan fights!

7) Talking with everyone for the last time. I especially liked Kaidan and Garrus here, although Garrus was a little bit too cheesy ;). But well, who wouldn't be in that situation. Also one of the times were optimistical answers aren't necessarily good, I find it important to say everything you want to when dying is likely, even if you don't want to admit it.

8) Samara trying to shoot herself. I never made a Paragon action that fast. That one really shocked me because I thought she wants to kill her daughter ;).

There were some other little scenes as well, but they don't come into my mind right now. I especially liked many standard dialogues with the crew, many of them had a nice melancholic touch.
