Everything with Liara (my LI), Andersons death and Thessia – Kai Leng snatching the Prothean VI made me want to gut him.

I did the same thing and clasped my hand over my mouth sobbing quite a few manly tears.


 -I had no idea that tali could die until reading these forums, it really makes me sad thinking that could happen if I did not stop them from attacking the Geth.

The most emotional scene in the game is to watch shepard die and get the critical mission failure screen.

I can't handle it and always break down.  Then I restart the game from the very beginning and show Shepard the respect shep deserves.   Reloading is unacceptable.

These were most emotional for me:

1. The Ending. Evoked many emotions from me, mostly anger and disappointment because of how ****ty and incoherently it all ends. Also sadness, in no small part because of the music - gotta love Clint Mansell.

2. Thane's death prayer. Very touching and foreshadowing for Shepard.

3. Mordin. What a way to go - epic and sad. Couldn't betray him though, only watched it on youtube - heart wrenching stuff and Shepard is cold blooded bastard there.

4. VS romance arc - there are some very touching scenes there, starting from Mars and ending with final conversation on Earth. Now, I know that many people would say that Liara is the best romance of all ME series, but for me she's just a boring plot-armored statue of perfection BioWare put on their pedestal of love - too forced on the player for my tastes, also too much fawning over Shepard. Even Miranda in ME3 seemed more like a real person, and like VS she can get hurt, which adds a powerful notion of how valuable they are to Shepard and how easily he\\she can lose them.

5. Anderson. It was an epic final scene with him and Shep - he was like a father figure for my earth born Shep. I just wish there was an option to save him in the end, he deserved a better ending, like finally retire with Sanders.

Grunt's "death" moved me at the time. It was a great scene. And I was delighted to see him appear alive before Shep left. Just a pity I couldn't add him to the crew!

Thanes death scene I'd say, that one had me in tears... esp. when his dying wish was a prayer for Shepard.

There were a lot of very emotional scenes in ME3 though, you have to give BioWare credit for that much.

I think that Thane's death was what touched me the most. I had the leaky eyes and had a few manly sobs.

Shepard :"Kolyat? His last moments were those of a hero. Why pray for salvation?"
Kolyat: "The prayer was not for him, Commander. He has already asked for forgiveness for the lives that he as taken... His wish was for you."

Ending=/=rest of the game.

98% of the game was superb, better than ME1 and ME2.

Anyway, definitely Ashley's romance scene for me.

Hardest times : -Mordins death was bittersweet, he gets to do what he wanted and correct his "mistakes" but he dies

- The fleet jumping in was def a " **** yeah!" (little did I know what was to come¬¬)

Thessia. When Kai Leng got away I felt like crap for one few times in the series when Shep wasn't just on superhero level and actually failed. Then the Asari on the com as the reapers were coming down on the city. The music was perfect. Just a very poignant moment.

And while it didn't tear me apart, the Primarch's son's death was very well done nonetheless. "Victory...at any cost"

Mordin was ****ing great. Most personal thing.
On a greater scale, the Thessia mission and shepards breakdown afterwards were extremely well designed. Not necessarily the Kai Leng Scene, more the general hopelessness that even the most advanced and beautiful race in the galaxy gets slaughtered by the millions within minutes.
The implications and the follow up, also with liara, were extremely well executed in my opinion.

watching Falere watching her sister get turning into one of those banshee things then fighting it off only to get stabbed through the chest by one of them, and then blowing herself up to kill them all.

Finally curing the genophage, with Wrex and Eve alive.

I'll never have a playthrough where I have to go through seeing Tali's death. I can't even watch the full sequence in Youtube -- when she sees the debris of the destroyed ships crashing down on Rannoch and she starts weeping it breaks my heart already and I have to stop it. It's similar to the brokenhearted feeling I get when Tali clings to you (if LI) at the end of the game "I want... more time...". Sigh.

Other than that, Legion's "passing" was very sentimental moment. Tali's last words to him too were heartfell, imagine how hard is for a Quarian to say that, and to mourn Legion afterwards. It says much of the significance of Legion's sacrifice.

I think Rannoch as a whole is a place that touches home in many aspects, including the fact that you take down a Reaper on foot...

If only... Bioware if only when you set up the scene where Tali walks to the cliff's edge "It will be years before we can live completely without our suits but now... *pssshhhh....* now I have this..." -- if only you had shown us her ingame face at that point, you had set up the perfect mood and the perfect moment for it. Why?

I was about to write something about the ending since I was actually pissed off and angry in real life over it but I wont... oh, wait... Eh, anyway.

I think it was Mordins death scene, it is sooo awesome in every single way. Made me cry manly tears and pressing my face against the screen.... Had to wipe it off later.
And I also felt really good when I interrupted Kei Leng and rammed the omniblade in his gut. Damn that was satisfying! XP
