For folks still having problems I updated my service with these beta files and it appears to have corrected my profile from updating properly.

I spoke to soon I still have problems after updating the DAUService files.

My 1 and only partially uploaded character file has two errors on it from the diagnostic tool.

Error Codes
1004 - No story xml file uploaded from the game to the on-line storage server. 1003 - No portrait image uploaded from the game to the on-line storage server. 

This profile is new as of 1/5/10 and is the second time I have attempted to upload it.

Started a second character (Human Mage) and while achievements are updated on my profile instantly, the character is still listed as Level 1 with 50 XP when it should be about Level 9. The character is over a day old. Will keep an eye out for updates in the future.

checked your profile, seems your statistic is very... interesting you know, 160+ strength, 150+ willpower etc, are you using cheats or something?

I did read the FAQs and it says that it will prioritize the profiles that get viewed by others. So no views, no updates from the server perhaps? I'm not sure. I'm working on seeing what I can do to get mine updated. Several of my achievements aren't even loading right now.

my first two characters uploaded fine, then zip. Last two - one partially uploaded with heaps of error codes, just achievements registered and my latest character doesn't even show up at all on the profile manager thingy.

My achivements are going up here....but for some reason its showing the stats of my first character (which i left alone and made a new (current) character)

this website is just full of bugs.

I thought the point of deleting the characters with errors sounded good. So when I wen tto dlete them it said I " did not have permission to do that" Even though I am log in and going through them. It also wont let me delete screen shots. I think there is something to do with different profiles which I saw some where. I had 3 of them One of them said dragon age and had a long number after it. When said EA with my profile login name etc... help

Change between 3 accounts and delete screenshots one by one. Sometimes you can't delete screenshots or characters because their uploading process don't complete. You can find them later.

I've never used a manual save, I ONLY use quicksaves, and 9 times out of 10 it works for me.  I have 3 characters up and updated on the social site.  Is it an intermitant thing only?

The game actually uploads data on quick saves too. I remember only using quicksave because I didn't want data to be uploaded for one character, but when I visited my profile the game still managed to upload it. Even autosaves

I've been trying to fix mine for days, i have characters that simply don't exist according to this site I really want them to upload and cant figure out how. i did notice that suddenly when i try to manually upload screenshots from within the game, instead of getting a progress bar or an error, it simply does, well....nothing. I'm at a complete loss as to why this is happening. It used to be very slow but at least it used to work...sorta.

Like I stated before: Make sure you check your profile diagnostics. If any of your caps are reached (100 total files OR 350 MB), your profile will cease to update. Simply delete your screenshots or your characters then make a manual save with the characters you wish to have reloaded!!!! Happy uploading!

What's wrong?

Tired of this--tried all the so called fixes suggested and still not updating properly. This is a problem for BioWare. It is entirely their problem and responsibility to fix. As of yet, they have failed or ignored their responsibilty and haven't addressed the problem.
Get it together BioWare!!!!

P.S. Here's hoping that the maintainence shutdown on the 19th address' this.

The biggest problem is the timing out that happens, If you can't really log on to the server, it won't update.

Yes it's a bioware problem and they need to fix it.

I have showing a file, that was deleted still on the server profile, causing some problems.

Last time any profile updating for me was back on the 6th of this month

I had this problem, my profile not updating. However, I read on the Wiki that activating the console stops your profile from updating. I ran a version with no console, and my profile updated right away.

Yes I did, you could just subtract 100 from each to see what my stats would have been without it.

I generally play through an RPG the first time for the story not the game play. And then if there is any replayability at at all I do subsequent playthroughs normally. Its my prefered method. 

And to do it I simply used the Toolset to edit my base stats on my characters first save. No real "cheats" needed.

My character info hasn't updated in weeks. When I started the game in november the characters and achievements updated fine. After I switched computers once, went back, and switched back (lots of game issues and finally my desktop gave up on everything - now I can only play on the laptop) I still have not seen any of my new characters on the site. I deleted my old characters since they are no longer in existence, and the achievements are updated -

But I have no files from any of my current games which I have been playing all week. Nor any from the characters between these and the first ones. Any help?


EDIT: When I do the Profile Diagnostics it gives me this: "Invalid persona/game combination" in red text.

For the last couple of months I've not been able to update at all. I tried everything, and it just didn't work.

Well tonight I desided. I was going to try one more thing and see if that worked. I reinstalled Vista on my computer, wipeing out Windows 7 from it.

Loaded up the game. and I had taken the time to make sure I had saved my characters. Transfered them to another computer on my network.

Once everything was done, went into the game, maded a new character, Played it a bit, then transfered back my other characters.

Just now, logged back on here, after saving the game and low and behold my profile updated with the characters.

Now, With everything I"ve done the last week or so, trying, I came to understand that there is something in Windows 7 and the on line server for our profiles, that just isn't working together.

See I had also done the ports, stopped the firewall, all the good stuff.

Not quite true, Ginasue - I'm on windows vista right now and my profile is being stubborn and not updating, no matter what I play.

Emynii, check to make sure that your add ons are allowing it to go though.

And don't forget, as posted here, http://social.biowar...58/index/275974 If you use any of the "cheat" scripts, your profile won't update. I personally like to cheat, I want to have fun, not frustration, so I don't really care about my online profile.
