Seems like I'm not the only one with problems. For a while I was able to get my character up, but his levels were lagging months behind. I deleted and tried to reload/upload and now I just have acheivments and no character. Very annoying!

I was hoping for my profile woes to resolve on their own, but it's not happening.



My portraits suddenly disappeared last week, before RtO. My characters haven't updated in a month or so...still getting achievements and I believe screenshots. In-game after loading up a save I get "Could not connect to Dragon Age servers" or some such message. Also getting 1005 error in the profile diagnostics.



I'm under the file limit, so I don't know what the heck is wrong with my profile or characters. Thought I'd voice my troubles.

deleted my ini and it my profile works. guess bioware doesn't want us using the console.

this is happening to me too, i even deleted the ini file, after the 1st delete it stoped working
now i have a static profile with all my characters and some new ones that haven't even uploaded yet

i wonder if theres any other work arounds

I just did something and POOF, now everything is there. Even the stats on my newly created one were there too. One downside. The Rouge I never deleted is gone (shrugs shoulders, don't look at me)



Here's what I did----

In game, hit Profile then Online Profile. About 10 minutes later, the above happened.



It may be a coincidence and it just happeded to update at the time I did this.... I don't know. But for my double deleted (crappy Mage) character to come back and the one I never deleted to disappear??????

thats odd. i did a repair on the config exe and it only updated a couple of characters.

Just a note that since I mentioned my avatar photo (see left) I also discovered that all my screen shots since 1/30/10 look just like that picture of my avatar.

I am not able to take in game screen shots anymore It was working fine for a couple weeks than all of sudden it stopped working. I've looked at the directory where the screen shots are saved and it hasn't been updated for weeks, very strange :/. Also, two of my characters' portraits aren't showing up anymore, don't know if this is related to the screen shot problem. Anyone have either of these issues before?

I had that happen several times - I would have to delete a character several times before it finally disappeared.

I do know that now my on-line storage is full. Hopefully somebody in charge will read this and clear out my storage - I already deleted it through the website, but it stayed in the storage, so now I can't get to any of my characters or screenshots :shrug:

Does anyone have any idea how to contact the people in charge of the website here?

I started playing again since last week, and my profile did not want to update. Sunday it stil did not update. Also sudenly my character portrait was gone. So i find this thread, and was preparing to delete my character. I logged in a few minutes and it was updated. Still there is a bit diffrence between my character sheet (most powerful foo killed) and my character list. Since i did not chance anything on my pc, i think the problem maybe was on the server side.

For me all this week it actually back dated me. My toons all took a level reduction. I have a lvl 19 human noble rogue  and in the story part it says lvl 19. But on the character page it said lvl 16. My Dalish Elf Rogue same thing, Story says lvl 9. Character sheet says lvl 5.
Off course my profile diagnostics is screwed up as well, it keeps saying i have two character with 3 missing files. Funny part is I deleted them both from web site and game [Had to delete them 3 times from the web they just kept coming back] and now my profile diagnostic still insist they are hiding some where on the web page.
and not to mention the click on something and you get [color=#ff0000">AN ERROR ]Can not connect to the on-line server.[/color] or INVALID PERSONA/ GAME PERSONA.

Anyone know what exactly the error code 1005 is? "Extra unexpected files uploaded from the game." At least 2 of my characters are at 7 files.

I beat the game with 3 out of my 4 characters, but it is still showing the levels and equipment of my characters from back in early December. For instance, it shows my Rogue at lv 11 when she's really 22 and beat the game, it shows my Dailish elf as level 2, but he's really 21 and beat the game, and it shows my mage here as a newly created character still even though he's wearing blood armor and is an Arcane Warrior.



Tried everything to get it to update but it won't. It also won't let me upload anymore Screenshots, even after deleting about 20 of them a few nights ago. Still says I have 100 and as you see by my profile, I clearly do not.

Yeah - the website is simply not fully deleting things - it's removing them from our control, but not removing them from storage. It's going to take someone who has access to the storage to delete it - which means BioWare. I have no idea why they've not done anything or at least acknowledged the problem.

Follow-up from this post.

The day after I posted, my profile updated. Profile portraits were back, everything seemed in order.

Unfortunately everything seems to have gotten messed up again. "Unable to connect to Dragon Age servers" is popping up, character portraits gone again.

They need to do a major overhaul to the web site. I just wish someone from BioWare would let us know what is happening. I'd complain a lot less if I knew someone was working on the problem

Agree, they seem to have dropped the ball with this particular issue.

Mine didn't update for the longest time, and then it suddenly did after 16 levels and me posting on the forum. I'm hoping that doing so again will cause it to update, and this seemed an appropriate place to do so.

Well, I did this and then uploaded a couple of screenshots. Can't find the screenshots, but my profile seems to have updated.

Diagnostics say everything is fine, online profile at the same time says I haven't played since December 12th when I just made a new character for the profile picture. No updates, etc...



I've disabled the console, unblocked the ports, deleted the .inis, and started a new character with a new saved game and changed his equipment for good measure.
