Were you in the Circle of Magi Fade portion of the game?
Looks like the game updated just as you were in "Flaming Man" form.

Anyway, I'm also having that update issue. I've got the achievements and whatnot but my characters are level 1 still. I do manual saves constantly, usually 3 separate saves per area which I cycle through.

1) the game only uploads character data on a manual save (no quicksaves)
2) the game only *updates* the character stats XML when you change equipment or level up, and will happily re-upload old data
The general recommended workaround is to change your equipment, manually save, then keep playing for a bit to give it time to upload.
Been doing all of that, still nothing. No screenshots upload either. The only thing that uploads and stays current are my achievements.
Have you enabled the console? If so, try disabling it. Worked for me.
Now it works. Thanks.

I stopped waiting for this to be fixed weeks ago.
I'm on my 6th play-through, yet my last updated character was my 2nd -- 5 or 6 days after release!!! (or rather, after I got it in the mail from Amazon.com)
Though my Achievements are apparently updated daily.

Edit: Hmmm, seems to be working now. It took a while to do it initially and now it updates almost immediately.

I believe I was in the fade at around level 7 to 9 (at which point it displayed me as Shale), but that was a while ago and it has updated the remaining information since (level 12, equipment, spells, etc.). Perhaps I was in Burning Man shape previous to Shale, when it updated last (before the level 9 update) and it just reverted back to that instead of checking what my character currently looks like. Dont know =)

My new character is already level 6 and its showing as 2. It's been more than a week since I was level 2!!! Plus, NONE achivements are uploading AT ALL.
Will disable the gameplay feedback and see if it works.

Oh well, that was 25% of the fun for me before finishing the game (alas, not even the "xxxx finished playing DAO" message has appeared...), and now, it's about 40%. So, I'll play other games until its fixed, I guess =X

Except like others my achieves and so on do seem to update, yet mysteriously according to the websites logic my level 17 warrior that I was done playing @ level 22 and 2 weeks ago somehow managed to not only get specific achives for reaching level 20 but also unlocking achieves related to many mage spells.
Edit:
NICE! <3Belhawk Said:
what i did to get online working again is to delete DragonAge.ini and
let the game recreate it. it is in
documents/bioware/dragonage/settings. I also clicked on manage profiles
and clicked on the picture. Now, all my characters are up to date.
Works perfectly. Be warned that this will delete your video settings and cause a weird error with your ONLINE screenshots (that being your online profile can only hold -1 of -1 files) but it will hopefully update to let you back at 100.
Although its pretty weird that it has my warrior still at lvl 17 when he is 20+ with a completely different set of gear etc.

I have no characters on my profile page, no screenshots, and my achievements are not up-to-date. But I still have (somehow) reached the maximum number of files. 100 out of 100 (or sometimes -1 out of -1 maximum). My profile is full, so it won't update - but there are no files showing on my profile, so I can't delete them to make room. The circle of doom.
And the game is sending the data, hence the full files, and according to my profile page it has been updated. They are just lost in limbo, being sent and received by the server, but not appearing on my page.

I also do not get the timeout messages in-game anymore, so for all I know someone might have manually "cleaned" my profile...

This is interesting information. I don't quick-save, and I frequently manually save (almost every encounter conclusion). At earlier levels, my character's equipment changes fairly frequently. Yet, I've not seen character data updated in perhaps 2 weeks now. The forum avatar I have showing isn't even a valid character anymore, since I deleted it perhaps more than a week ago.
May need to check into whether too many manual saves is borking the update process.
