That's not a strange problem. More like the problem the vast majority of users is having

updating is strange. My mage is L9, just got updated from L6 to L8. I guess i wasn't on long enough after reaching L9 for it to take. Achievements have never been a problem for me.  U are suppose to be able to manage your pics, but i see no way to delete them, and there is no description attached to them either.

Mine hasn't updated since the first week after release. And I do manual saves regularly, change gear and all that like they stated early in the thread. The only thing that seems to update for me are the achievements.

My profile hasn't updated since level 4 with an old character. I made myself a mod, which failed horribly, and I haven't seen my profile update since. No dev console or anything. Could my mod have broken updates for all my characters?

I do quick saves mostly, but I also manual save every time I enter a new area.  Yes, I'm obsessive.

I can confirm that letting the game update the DragonAge.ini file fixed the upload problem.



All I did was change a game setting, save settings, and change it back. I then manually saved, and voila! Profile was updated instantly!

Meh, I'm a lucky one then. DragonAge.ini was deleted 17 times (yes I counted) and I change settings every now and then.

Me too, still stuck on my first character at level 2 ..



Accomplishments seem to be updating but screenshots and additional characters are not. I also can't seem to take or save screenshots from in game. They never show up in the right section.

7 new characters, gave all of my characters face morphs with a toolset, equipped new items, manually saved, reloaded, everything. Achievements update the second I get them, anything else, nadda. My last 4 characters show up as blank pictures.

Just for the fun of it i think the servers are broken right now as i don't have anything uploaded even what i had previously my dwarf is still at lvl 8 while it is like lvl 11 . But when i try to look it says i have no content. Guess the servers are down or something like that.

Interesting point. The game allow for custom modded content, such as new eye textures, new armor types and names. But the updated data will not update this items and textures correctly. So many times you get inventory with missing items, or in some cases, a completely missing portrait for the character.

Perhaps something needs to be done to address this, as I cannot see much reason for these things not being included.

Also, you must start the game from the Dragon Age Launcher for the game to update. You cannot start the game from daorigins.exe.

I tried the deletion of the DragonAge.ini fix that people have been talking about last night since nothing for me has updated since day 1 (no update on leveling, achievements etc) and checked it this morning to give it some time but nothing has updated. I do frequent manual saves, it is a old habit back from playing Baldur’s Gate lol. Anyway, I am now getting a new error however that I have never seen before that says, "You have timed out while attempting to access your online profile storage." So it doesn't look like the deletion of that file worked at all.

What type of game setting are you changing?  I've changed a couple things (Difficulty, Video, Online) and nothing has worked yet.  What is the fix really.

More importantly, why after a month is the Community still offering solutions?

Yeah, mine doesn't work either.  I've got 5 screenshots from the Origin story, and that's it.  Shows me as level 3, even though I just hit 17.  Logged in due to DLC whenever I play, so I should be updated.  But nothing.

Mine hasn't updated since November 5th, achievements update just fine though which is a little odd. I also get some message about my online storage timing out, doesn't seem to stop the achievements updating.

Not sure if this matters but I changed one of the online settings. Clicked to provide game feedback, save, then unlick, save.

Also as another poster mentioned before, make sure you don't have console enabled, or nothing gets uploaded.
