What shall I do?

another strange thing, i deleted all of my online pics, but profile diag says i still have 31 pics in online storage?  When i look at pics or manage pics, i see none, but diag says they are there?
also, when i have the game running in the background, tonight, and ran profile diag, i got an error message invalid persona/game combo.
i also deleted some characters: elissa, Lynna, and tonite, durran1.  But profile diag shows them and they have files a total of 6 files attached to them. elissa 1 file, lynna 1 file, and durran1 4 files attached to them.

I deleted some screenshots, deleted some more an hour later and *poof*, suddenly the characters in my profile were updated.

I'm glad to see that fix is working for some people as far me however it didn't work  but I can't be too bitter the game besides this small problem is fantastic.


So 14 mins after I posted the above for some reason things started to update and I am happy that at least something updated lol. But it is still strange I haven't messed with anything in awhile relating to fixing profile I just have kept playing the game.

Everything works for me now. Most of you are probably having Firewall issues. I turned my security down before I enter the game and all is fine.

Check into it. Seriously, I have zero problems now. Though it takes an hour or two for updated stats show, it works.

I have no idea how I got to 100 screenshot limit, I can only see 51 from my profile. I never even created a character named Daylen2 (default name, I know, but I don't use them).

I am also getting the error: Invalid persona/game combination, is there a known fix for this?

Edit: Firewall settings fixed this for me.

Finally I had an update yesterday all my achievements are there it seems. However only two of my six characters are showing up and this strange enough is only every once and awhile because it seems to keep switching back and forth to those two characters (who one is completely correct and the other one is stuck on level 12 though he is currently at level 22 lol) and four that I deleted a long time back. Just a little rant I'll have to try the firewall thing next when I get home today.

IMO it's still totally broken. A second ago I got the error "invalid persona/game combination".
Yesterday I deleted all the screenshots - every single one, because I could not find an option "delete all", just to see them again today.
I disabled "upload screenshots automatically" to avoid further spamming of the allowed data storage in my profile.
Of course I deleted also every DA:O-screenshot stored on my HD.
I'd really like to know, why deleted screenshots reappear a day later. No wonder, when the data storage is always too full for more uploads.

* no characters listed at all - your game is NOT UPLOADING DATA, and you need to try things like changing equipment, manually re-saving, etc to get it to do so. Alternately you could have multiple gamertags/accounts involved, at which point that needs to be resolved



Ok, suggestions on how to resolve would have been nice. I started playing the game under a different user account on my PC (admin account) then switched to (standard) account. This is where I'm seeing the problem come in.



Also, what about different users on the PC playing the same game and their game and stats are only showing up with player's registration and account who purchased and registered the game. How is this being resolved?

I wish we could simply manually upload the data needed. Wouldn't that solve 99% of the problems here?


I can't get my characters to show up, and I also keep getting updates of old characters that I have long since deleted. I'll try the .ini thing (already have all ports open)

my characters profile is stuck on level 9 even though ive finished the game at lvl22+ using him, and have started playing the game using a new elf character.

been the same for days/weeks now.

i do frequently (almost everytime i play the game) get a online storage time out message.

i dont have any personal firewalls running, apart from my routers own firewall. netgear dg834g

edit - forcing the game to upload all my screenshots and waiting whilst it shows a progress bar for each one has updated my profile... i think.

I have two characters who have fully completed the game, and three more just at Ostagar yet only two are visible at the profile page(With only about 3000xp each even though i've finished teh game with one of them). I have tried opening the ports suggested to me and all the other fixes people have recommended yet nothing works, game is fully logged in and when i click upload screenshot nothing happens.

Yes I get the profile timed out message as well and the reappearance of characters I have deleted.

Also When I click the online profile whilest looking at the player profile section Firefox never loads the exe is in the processes section when you open task manager but....

To get Firefox to work again I have to manually close it in the task manager in the process section

Irritating to say the least.

I might try the ini thing might not they should patch it so we can manually upload the ones we want to

Well the Firewall thing can't be my issue don't have a firewall LOL

And I delted every screenshot on my profile from the website and guess what?
65 of them came back and that was after deleting the entire contents of the screenshot folder in game

Okay, first of all right after I installed the game, I created a human noble, warrior. Leveled him to around 15, then I decided to check out the website but my character couldn't be found, although achievements were there but no screenshots, then I made another character, elven rogue, (as in my avatar pic) played on that one and it seemed as if it was updated since I found him online, but then I decided that no, I don't want to play with this character anymore since I made a lot of stupid mistakes in game, deleted him and purged all screenshots I had and now I get these errors when I've created my new elven rogue which can't be found currently:

The fact that your game isn't uploading anything points at it being a firewall issue. See the sticky about opening ports.

Same here, never got it the first 2 or so weeks after release, it only started maybe 2 weeks ago and happens every time i play now. Another indication for a server side issue is that the profile diagnostics from within the online profile page very frequently can't reach theprofile storage, either.

Achievements and screenshots are ok, had no problems downloading character from CC, but the new character won't upload no matter what I do. As if it doesn't exist. Profile diagnostics ignores it like there is only a CC one. And I play a different character for about a month. So sad

Yeah I have all my achievements uploaded, but the last successful character upload appears to have been a few days after release, when my first playthrough was still in the origin story. So I am hesitant to attribute the issue to anything firewall router related, given that it worked fine a month ago and nothing has changed.

That said, firewall is off, and router has the relevant ports forwarded. No joy.
