Okay, I have opened the ports both in Xp and in my router so that shouldn't be a problem anymore, and I save manually in-game but all my screenshots are grey when I try to see them in game and I can't upload them, and the character still hasn't been uploaded to the DA Server.. -.-' what a pain this is..

Yep same problem here I'm running window 7 ultimate and even though they are jpeg files this site says they are corrupt and can't upload them. even though i know they are not I think the site is just bugged.

What exactly is saying it can't upload them?  Please post a screenshot of the error message if you are able.

Well, I think I discover what my problem was. I had several characters with the same name duo to recreations. Once I deleted my old characters my profile updated a minute after I did a manual save.
I still get the 1005 error though.

I'm going to check back tomorrow on my characterstatus on the site.. hopefully something will turn up since I disabled devconsole and opened the ports and so on...

That's not it, you can have multiple characters with the same name and they will show up fine, they just have numbers appended internally. It's like that for one of my current characters as I had originally created him in the CC but then changed my mind and remade him. Can be a bit confusing though as you don't normally see the number.

Such a pain this whole process...sometimes mine upload..sometimes it says connection timed out..others it says connection error... *sigh*

Does the game have to be unmodified for the upload process to take place? I've done almost anything there is to do now, opened ports, deleted ini, fixed keybindings to remove console, saved manually, changed equipment, level up.. I have some custom armor and meshes for eyes and facial scars and that's it, does this matter?

My profile was never updated I tried many solutions but still nothing

After 1.02 patch my online profile wouldn't update at all.



Tried various things to fix it without any luck.



Finally i tried restoring my firewall to default setting then using DAO config utility and add firewall exception button under repair and everything updated, and now its near instant when i exit game and check online profile.

My character aren't even updating on who their most character that was killed. I just beat Broodmother the my male character and it doesn't even reconize it as that and say's the most powerful was Shopia from the Wardens Keep quest. Why arer my older character still showing up in my profile after I deleted them before. I am using the patch 1.02

I ALWAYS get connection lost (about 1 minute after I start the game). I think it happens ONLY after the patch 1.02 (same with 1.02a). Closed ports are not the issue here! (I don't use firewalls since I already learned my lesson, that they harm more then help) It worked before the patch, uploaded my character and achievements, now I play the game for the second time, new character is NOT uploaded but achievements ARE! And this connection lost thing is annoying... I am 99% sure it was ok before the patch. I have polish version of the game, but extracted english packages from cd's and copied those to experience the game just how it was meant to be played. But I am quite sure that could not be an issue. Right? Or could it?

Edit: I get "timed out" error/notification every time. It seems to have trouble sending anything else than achievements? Strange, isn't it?

MY problem is that the char i used for my 2nd playtrough is still displayed as lvl 15 while she is 22... but the achievments she got are uploaded! so its really weird.. and its the same the past month...

So if an official can comment this plz do..

I have got a really strange problem there: I see my character on the profile diagnostics screen but on the manage characters page and player profile page I don't. I admit I've deleted the character from the online storage, but this was the second time I did, first time when I did a manual save, it got re-uploaded, now it didn't. Any ideas, or maybe any BioWare tech guys can fix my profile?

I have had a similar problem with nothing updating at all. But I seemed to have fixed it. This is probably not same problem everyone else is having but I kicked my self when I found the answer

All I did is register Dragon age (pc version) under 'my games' on the social.bioware web set. Then all my acheivements seem to magically appear which were not there before. And I stopped getting the error message' unable to connect to server blah blah'. I Haven't had the chance to upload the Characters or screenshots yet but I think once i have been connected for about an hour to allow it to synch it should be fine.

If your profile updated about 8 hours ago too, then it didn't, because I use NOD32 too and the last time I was playing was a few days ago.
Anyways, does anyone know why is my story page clear?

I am on my 4th play through. My Mage completed the game at level 21 and that shows in my profile. My rogue completed at level 22 but still shows level 8! Ny level 14 warrior and my 2nd mage doesn't even appear. However, all achievements show. About 90% of the time after logging in, I get a game message saying there was a server error accessing my data files.

Nirvana, i had the same problem, the following worked for me:



With the Configuration utility,( so NOT the ingame one, but button in the 'autostart' screen) Change something >Save->change it back-> Save again



Then Start the game->go to player-profile->hit online profile button ->,it was updated .



That worked for me.

Nothing's working for me. I've changed settings and saved, I've deleted my dragonage.ini file, I'm pretty much at my wit's end looking for solutions. I don't understand why my achievements for making level 20 as a mage and a rogue show up, but my only character is my level 7 warrior that I started with.

A few of my characters haven't been updating but some do, but everytime I load up it states that it timed out whilst trying to access my online storage profile and when go into my screenshots it states I have -1 of -1 available spaces and even though I recently deleted a load of screenshots from my online profile, if I try to load anymore it says I have reached my maximum storage?



As others have mentioned the only thing that ever seems to update properly is the achievements which I really don't care about, I would much rather see my characters pages update properly.

That's shortsighted. The console is a terrific tool for debugging and/or creating workarounds for bugs. As a modder I find it extremely useful.

That's why it's there in the first place...so the original devs could debug.

I don't have console enabled so that's not the case.

It looks like everyone experience the same problem. I noticed it after the patch (currently running on 1.02a). Can someone without patch confirm that?
I guess that for everyone this worked at certain point and then stopped (completely or most of the time).
I'll check if antivirus program might be the case but I doubt this...

Or perchaps the system is simply overloaded? More and more copies of the game are being bought, sending those jpgs all the time perchaps?




And why there is no comment on this from some kind of authority? There are plenty people complaining about it here but there must be way more out there that just don't care that much to report or look for answer.
